It was strange... I don't know if the baby was real or not. It couldn't have been. But it just...felt like it...like she was mine. I looked in Joan's eyes and I saw a piece of me. Somehow it even made Cordelia seem less irritating.

Hm. Wonder if that was what Mom felt like when taking care of me... I guess this was the closest I'll ever get to knowing what it's like to have a kid. A pain in the ass but almost...worth it. It felt like...she was the one person I didn't have to distance myself from.

I feel so stupid.

See? I knew the baby would be no good. If I hadn't had to keep my eye on it, I could have done what I had planned to do when I planned to do it. But no, everything had to be delayed because of diaper changing fun time.

Now that stupid dye job's gone, and he's probably off giggling in that annoying voice of his because he got away without my stylish boot print on his ass.
