...What the hell?
[sound of pages flipping]
...Huh. Wonderful.
[a pause] Should get them to turn up the heat in here, it's a bit cold... [longer pause] Wait. I don't get cold. Unless this room is the average temperature of Flanoir...
[a few unintelligible mutterings over the course of several minutes, faint cursing, followed by a zapping noise]
...Well, that's...inconvenient.
[more pages flipping]
It looks like there are quite a number of people here. If anyone recognizes any of the following terms, please contact me: Sylvarant, Tethe'alla, Kharlan, Martel.

I recognize Martel, but which time you came from?
no subject
I don't fully understand the question. Sylvarant's seventh Chosen of Regeneration in this cycle is about to begin her journey, if that's what you mean.

...Martel is...is...what?
...Where I come from, Martel is the name of the goddess worshiped nearly everywhere. We have an old legend about a tree that provided mana to the world, but it was known as the Great Kharlan Tree, and most now believe it to be a fairy tale. Yggdrasill is the name of the leader of Cruxis, who rules over the angels.

A goddess. Also, Cless, my friend, wield the Eternal Sword that could travel through time. It was split in half so long ago, so he has to make it whole again.
In our world, the tree is the same as your tree. It sustains our world with mana, but it's call Yggdrasill.
Someone from your world thinks. . .that our world is your future and your time is our past.

Why you ask? You from Aselia?
no subject
No, I'm not from Iselia. If anything, I'm from Welgaia, on Derris-Kharlan.
no subject
Martel is name of the spirit of the tree, at least that's what people call her.

He's not here, then? What a shame.
How many are here?
no subject
They haven't made themselves known yet. I'll give them a bit longer to see this entry before I seek them out.

Looking through this journal, sanity and intelligence both seem a bit lacking, but so far I don't seem to be doing too badly with new acquaintances. I don't trust that luck to continue, though.
I have, yes.

I see. Unfortunately, it's universal- we all lose something. I only hope it is not something you cherished.
no subject
Not something I cherished, exactly, but it is something that I've had for such a long time that I'm...feeling a bit off-balance without it.
