What was the point of that...that...

[a laugh]

Why? Why am I even asking, questioning this...this place.

I am sick to bloody death of "Paradisa", and I'm not just going to sit around and...and do nothin'!

Filtered to Paradisa Police People )

[ooc: ok so the filter is to anyone who has policing experience, not just people Sam knows]

[dictated near his journal in a voice that... sounds suspiciously like Ranma, Inuyasha, and Usopp]

Well, I've obviously been kidnapped... but the questions are who, why, how, and where?

And I need to find Ran.

[there's a whoosh as he pulls the curtains away from the windows]

....Certainly not the kind of scenery I was expecting. Curious.

[a bit of scuffling, then the door opens and closes- he's out into the hallway looking for clues, leaving the journal behind... he won't be getting your comments, sorry]

[he might just run into one genuine American out in the hallway though]

You know, this place isn't so bad. I think I can find a niche here pretty well. There's some gorgeous company about, and after a little gander through this journal, I found a brand new angel buddy to have fun with.

[Chuckles evilly]

I left you a present, Captain Scowls. Knew I could do something with all that paper. Cheers, Kid!

((OOC: Anyone near Castiel's room will see a giant origami angel with a bent halo sitting outside. Enjoy!))

[distracted and offhand, as if speaking to herself without realizing the journal is open]

Those days were few. Further cause to cherish small gifts.

Man, I'm exhausted. I spent all of yesterday exploring the grounds up to the town gates, and that includes getting lost in the library and distracted by other things. I'm surprised someone isn't living in the kitchen by now; it's bigger than the royal one at Baticul.

I looked around the forest, too. It doesn't have any real monsters as far as I can tell. I can't imagine going anywhere outside of the city without having to fight something off. You guys are pretty lucky, I guess. [a pause] ... Some of the time.

[The sound of boots being set on a desk, a plate being pulled close, and a sigh.]

At least the food is good.

I wonder how everyone is holding up at home.

What: Wine, more wine and a bit more wine probably.
When: Early evening, Natalie's first proper day here after arriving last night.
Where: The Lux
Rating: Probably NC-17 for discussion topics.

Natalie was sitting at the bar... )

Hmm... no, that doesn't seem right. But then... It's more comfortable this way.

[For anyone who may be watching, the angel boy has taken up training himself with two short swords in a corner of the courtyard, one in each hand. He's holding the sword in his left in a reverse grip, and though he looks rather awkward with them, there is unmistakable determination in his face as he tries to get used to the weapons]

[ooc: feel free to come up and bug him/tell him he's doing it wrong LOL]

[someone forgot to shut the journal after she'd sent someone a message and now there's singing being recorded - someone's happy o_O - and a fairly good singer too apparently.]

It's been really quiet today hasn't it? Well, I guess we can't have tidal waves every day! I mean, not to say the tidal wave was a good thing, but you have to admit it made things interesting! You know how murder isn't a good thing, but without it, I wonder if I would have anything to do! I mean, besides training. Training is good, but you need to have fun too!

Speaking of murders, Nick! You need to open up Wright and Co. over here! I mean, I'll admit there isn't a ton of crime, but we should be ready, just in case.

Anyway, a slow day like today needs a game!

Uh..

Anyone know a good game?

I have to admit, this weather is fairly nice.

Though I'm still not used to it being this cool.

[the journal records a groggy wuffling sound, followed by an alarmed growl and the sound of a very large animal getting to its feet very quickly. after a few moments, there is an angry, feline snarl, and the sound of said animal pacing through the hallway. feel free to come across him?]

[[ooc: Time Lords, mental presence has gone out of whack, as usual. :D]]

The weather is an interesting change, but I wonder what took so long. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come. Was the mistake not having weather before, or is the mistake having something other than perfectly temperate days now?

Or maybe it means nothing at all and I have far too much free time these days. People have been behaving, after all~

[sigh] Big cats aside, you're all horribly boring tonight.

I suppose it's time for another late-night trip to the gym.

[John has been flying/walking around all week, exploring the grounds, the forest, the borders, and basically looking for the exit or something that could provide an exit, because he’s not having any of this ‘no way out’ BS until he checks it out thoroughly for himself]

Anything anyone can tell me about what’s going on at the borders of this place? I got some weird readings from it, but it was nothing that I could analyse. Strange, but there’s no end to the strange in this place.

And who’s the Camaro belong to?

[once you pass the entrance, you see that the castle was actually quite obliging. The floor has been replaced with lush grass that seems to be waving ever so slightly in some wind. Blankets are spread in a circle surrounding baskets of food. Where the fireplace once was there is still a bonfire of sorts, although it is only a pile of logs at this point waiting to be burned. There are various games a small distance away from the food to use your imagination. Music is playing more for ambiance, but people can feel free to start dancing if they are so moved to. Colette is standing near the entrance, beaming as she greets people that come in.

ooc: Yay, picnic is open!]

About the Archive

"Paradisa Lost" is the archive of what the journals contained between December 1st, 2006 and January 10th, 2012. On that final day, Paradisa issued new journals, so that the residents could fill them up again. While there are still residents around who have old journals, we have chosen to preserve the old journals here for muns' reference and history.

"Lost" in the title refers to both the old journals that the residents once kept, and also to our move to Dreamwidth from the original Livejournal community, where Paradisa started. It is a fresh start for muns, as well as for the characters.
