Ladies and gentlemen of Paradisa! My play finally has an opening date! If you would like to attend, look forward to the one and only performance on the evening of Friday, August 1st! (That's two weeks from this Friday~) This will signal the opening of the outdoor stage to all of your projects, too, as I encourage them very much. ♥

As for my crew, thank you all very much for your hard work! But we still have a long ways to go, so keep coming to practice. I know a couple of you have been slacking off, so now is the time to make it up to me. Show me that you're committed to doing your best, and I shall guide you in the right direction, as all brilliant leaders should!

Forgive me for the length of these musings, but to be honest I care little about how a bunch of words can inconvenience people.


I've been reading about love. I am afraid I still do not comprehend it. Is it something you must experience before you are able to fully understand what it entails and means? Are there truly unwritten rules about love, some unofficial manual ... ?

I've read that a parents bond with a child is the most selfless and strongest form of love ... the chemicals and endorphins involved are longer lasting and often more unconditional. I even read that people propose kissing evolved from mothers feeding their children through their mouths, before they had the proper tools to cut up food for children. Is it true that the first erotic bond you can have is with your Mother? Would we seek out what we had with our parents as a child? What of those who had no proper parental bonds whilst growing up? Is there no real relationship blueprint for those who grow up in such a way?

What I have learned is this: Love is said to be unconditional, but is actually very circumstantial. We tout unconditional love as the epitome of all that is real about love, yet we believe someone is foolish, abused, unhealthy or obsessive if they love someone unconditionally in reality. The only time we accept unconditional love is when an individual is getting something mutual from it, which is not unconditional.

People speak of love growing, and how important patience is in love, yet those who do not have 'chemistry' are expected to break up. So is compatibility something that happens with time and effort, or something that exists on its own?

Someone cannot say "If you love me, you would have sexual relations with me," yet someone can say "If we do not have sexual relations, I feel the relationship is over and we are no longer in love." So if you love someone, but if they are forcing you to touch their penis when you do not want to it is a bad thing, and they should wait if they really love you.... but if you are with someone and you do not feel like touching their penis, they can come to the conclusion that your love is dead and seek out someone else who will touch it ...?

I also read that honesty was the basis of all 'good' relationships. Hmm.

There are too many contradictions ... I think I will stick with friendship. And perhaps label my own types of bonds. If that's allowed.

Well, I was certainly pleased with how splendidly that little shindig panned out. Lots of people, lots of food, lots of fun. I should plan stuff like that more often.

Of course, I have to give credit to Orihime for the Tiki theme and to Renji for all the brute work he did. Good on ya', guys!

See there? All these different people in one area and not a single fight broke out. I think that's somethin' to be proud of. On top of that, I only set my clothes on fire once. Not bad for someone who's never grilled on a fire-pit like that.
