It's a curious thing, one minute being smuggled to the Fire Nation in cargo ship and the next to be in a very comfortable bed with a cup of jasmine tea. I've been sure that I'm going to wake up any minute now, as this all seems to be some sort of dream--but I'm growing more and more certain that I am not asleep. If this was a dream, it would be a pleasant one--warm tea, a window with a view, and a Pai Shou board in the corner. It's almost as if someone was expecting me...

and I admit, I would be quite happy to remain a guest here. If only I wasn't so worried about my nephew and the trouble he's bound to get himself into under Lord Ozai's watch.

So I suppose I will have to find a way to resume my journey to the Fire Nation capitol.

But I don't think there's any harm in finishing this tea first...
