No Such Details Will Spoil My Plan
Who: Lilah Morgan and YOU (including Peter Petrelli and Wesley Wyndam-Pryce)
What: Lilah found out a few days ago that she dies in the future. She's not taking it as well as she'd like. So she's turned to alcohol.
When: 11/9
Where: The Death Match
Rating: PG-13 most likely. I'll change this if that changes.
Lilah usually isn't the type to drink to get drunk. Normally, she rather dislikes the sensation of being drunk. It has little appeal to her. There's too much of a lack of control, and she's too much of a control freak. But right now, she already feels out of control. She has for a while, though she's been hiding it well. She had hoped she was finally getting over whatever trauma was leftover from what Damon had done to her, but it seems not. Or the news of her untimely demise just brought it all back. She's not sure.
But she doesn't want to think, she doesn't want to feel right now. Which is why she's sitting at the bar, nursing a glass of straight whiskey. It's her second one, and certainly not her last.

It was a lot to deal with on top of the idea that he was in some magic castle from another dimension. So did what he always did when things got overwhelming and went to a bar. The Death Match already proved to be a good drinking place.
He settled himself down and ordered a drink. It was a lot quieter here than the bar in Vegas he liked to frequent. In fact, it looked like he had only one other fellow drinker at the moment. Peter gave the woman a little nod of acknowledgement before starting in on his drink.

So instead she just turned back to her drink, finishing what was left in her glass before ordering another one.

So for now, he would just be there for company, even if it was the quietly drinking kind.

So instead, she continues drinking as the new glass is handed to her.

"I didn't know you were up and about yet," She added, taking another long drink from her glass. And she hadn't. She had only gone to see him the one time, that alone being as much weakness as she would allow herself.

He gave her a rueful sort of smile.
"Promise you won't tell anyone?"

"I promise."

"How is the house hunting coming along? I'd have expected you to be moved into an expensive but classy place by now."

But it didn't seem quite as important as it had before. Sure, she still wanted to get as far from Damon as possible but for all her plans for self preservation here and at home, she was still going to die before even Fred and Wesley kicked the bucket as well.
It wasn't knowledge that sat well with her.
She finished the last of her drink before signaling the bartender for another. Inwardly, she couldn't help but debate whether she should tell Wesley. If she would tell anyone, it would be him. But most likely, he would pity her and she doubted she could expect the same response she had given him all those months ago about his death.
