Happy Diwali [open]

Where: Everywhere (though just the ballroom for the feast)
Rating: Um, not more than PG? This is a family holiday, guys, come on...

Diwali is living up to it’s name today. The lights are everywhere today both outside and in.  Stands of candles line the lobby like a temple and lanterns hang from the very ceiling. Everywhere there is light.

Today, however, you can add new smells and sounds to the list as well. Music drifts through the air into the lobby, along with the fragrant, spice filled scents of foods and sweets.

Her mouth drops open into a wide 'o' at Elektra's statement, "You mean... you haven't had anything to eat?"

Elektra shakes her head. She's wondering why that's so important. "No. Why? Is that important?"

"But there's great food bursting from every stall! This is completely unacceptable, we need to get something for you."

"You're the expert." Elektra says with a smile. "Why don't you lead the way?"

"Sure," she grins and stands on her toes to look around through the crowd of people enjoy the festivities, "if I'm remembering right, there was a good stand back this way!"

Pointing, she starts to head in that direction, but looks back to make sure they don't get separated as they walk. She's not really worried about Elektra loosing her way or anything, but she doesn't want to be a jerk.

Elektra stays behind her easily even in the crowd. Bobbing and weaving while focusing on a target was in her skill set.

"So what are starting me off with?"

"Curry and naan! I think it's called naan, maybe it was han.... but it was this really good thin bread, and dipping it in the curry was delicious," she stands up on her toes to get a better look at the stalls, then turns around the look back at Elektra.

"If you had to say your favorite kind of meat, it would be....?"

"I don't have a preference." Elektra glances around. "What's your favorite?"
