Happy Diwali [open]

Where: Everywhere (though just the ballroom for the feast)
Rating: Um, not more than PG? This is a family holiday, guys, come on...

Diwali is living up to it’s name today. The lights are everywhere today both outside and in.  Stands of candles line the lobby like a temple and lanterns hang from the very ceiling. Everywhere there is light.

Today, however, you can add new smells and sounds to the list as well. Music drifts through the air into the lobby, along with the fragrant, spice filled scents of foods and sweets.

Steve is used to being bumped into by blond girls at this point. He smiles at her briefly in response. "It's alright. I'm used to it."

"Really?" she looks surprised at that comment. "A lot of people bump into you?"

"More often than I'd like." Steve shrugs. "I don't think they see me most of the time."

That statement makes her pause to think... "Either way, I really am sorry."

As she says that, she realizes that she hasn't even introduced herself (it truly was embarrassing how many people she met this way) "Um... I'm Colette Brunel."
