Happy Diwali [open]

Where: Everywhere (though just the ballroom for the feast)
Rating: Um, not more than PG? This is a family holiday, guys, come on...

Diwali is living up to it’s name today. The lights are everywhere today both outside and in.  Stands of candles line the lobby like a temple and lanterns hang from the very ceiling. Everywhere there is light.

Today, however, you can add new smells and sounds to the list as well. Music drifts through the air into the lobby, along with the fragrant, spice filled scents of foods and sweets.

Of course they are. Right up there with libraries and lobbies and everywhere else, really.

Tesla shrugs as well. "Beats me. It's some kind of Indian festival to celebrate for the reason of celebrating or something, I don't know. It looks like people are having fun with it, though."

She'd point out that, once again, this was a really weird Earth custom and, really, what the hell was the point of it if there was no...actual point. But she'll let him have this one. Because, dresses aside, it hasn't been a terrible holiday to suffer through.

"I'm just waiting for something horrible to happen. It's not like Paradisa to give us a holiday without some sort of terrifying catch."
