Who: Everybody willing to pop up
What: A party
When: 9pm EST
Where: The front hall
Rating: Low...

The front hall is bright with rainbows. Fish fly here to there like there's water to support them, and music dances constantly at the edge of hearing in an eerie echo against the walls.

Windows glitter and sparkle and pictures play across them, telling a story about each Endless, all of them opening up to a new world of thought. The front doors are flung open to let the air in, and faerie lights glimmer on all the foliage nearby.

The food is set up against one wall. In the very center is a platter of those little weenies and a slushy machine, but spreading out along both sides are fruits and meats and pastas and lots of chocolate. There's no order to the food, each course mixed in with all the rest.

Delirium stands at the end of the hall in front of the outside doors in a black fishnet dress. The cloth is constantly moving, opening and closing, hiding and revealing. Every thought runs through her mind, and finally settles on...

Please come... please please please...

Since Peter did promise Delirium he would help her out with her party, it would make sense for him to be early. After all, he'd agreed to make sure everyone came. So he was not altogether surprised to find that he was the first one (other than Del herself) to arrive in the front hall.

He hadn't been entirely sure what to wear, so he settled on a black shirt and black jacket, with dress pants and shoes. Black was a color that suited him quite well, and he pulled it off without looking like he was going to a funeral. The room was decorated in a very... Del-like way. There was no other way to describe it. Peter smiled to himself as he took a walk around the room. Del had put a lot of time and energy into this. He hoped a lot of people would come.

It was always a little difficult to piece together Del's speech, but Peter was getting more used it it.

"I think it all looks great, Del," he told her gently. "Everyone will have a really good time. Don't worry."

Romeo paused for a moment to take in the chaotic decorations. Yet, despite all of the contradictions, there was a sort of music about the place that Romeo could not deny, brought him back every time. He hadn't seen her since that one night, but her appearance eluded memory anyway, confuddled human senses and left him only with an anxious yet comforted presence in his heart.

At long last, he stepped over the threshhold. The king of the stage was ever of tall presence but short self, smiling brightly, blue highlights in hair adding to the subtle blue sheen to his black, subtle plaid tunic. Leather boots laced to his knees. At his side rested a sword, and on his shoulders sat a silver cape. He looked more like a servant of Nyx than ever. If he could not dance with a sun child this evening, then he would shoot for the moon.

"My dear Deli-chan!" he called out across the fish-inhabited expanse. "What a beautiful place this is! And made all the more pleasing with yours within it." He crossed the floor quickly, not seeing Peter, instead bowing before the chaotic queen and taking her hand for a polite kiss to it if allowed.

Romeo seemed to enter his own world then. He might have sensed the presence of others, but he had the amazing ability to focus in on one person and bring everyone else with him. Right now, his world was Del. He smiled brightly at her, not minding the awkward way in which her hair tittered and danced. And the babble? Absolutely adorable. He felt the same way, somewhere beneath all the finery and the farce. But that wasn't to say Romeo was dishonest... he was like an avatar for some other quieter boy.

"Touchable music...? That does sound intriguing," Romeo remarked as he rose to his feet. "Would you show me, sweet Deli-chan?"

The constant rolling of the wheels beneath his feet was a soothing motion, occupying Chris with thoughts of setting one foot in front of the other and not much else. His headache had only worsened after spending three days in and out of his room, and then the occasional checks to see if the fumes had left yet. The small amount of time he spend in Del's room didn't help either, but Chris realized she must have already been putting herself out of the way to accommodate him.

Thinking of Del's room made him wonder why he was actually coming to her party in the first place - it couldn't possibly be much better than the chaos of her room, yet... She was one of his few friends in the Castle and one of the two who seemed to know anything more than just the superficial details of his past. That merited at least an appearance, right? Shaking his head, Chris entered the hall and glanced around. Ow. He noticed Romeo right off - it was hard not to - then Del in the back, and finally Peter.

This was great. Two of the people he was currently avoiding and his temporary-roommate that he really didn't want to upset by leaving... all in the same room.

Leaving Romeo and Del to talk with each other, Peter went back to wandering around and checking to see if anyone else had made it yet. And... yeah. Someone did show up. That was... a dilemma, to say the least. Peter frowned a bit. He didn't want anything to go wrong with Del's party but on the other hand he had promised to stick around...

So... he sighed, and faded into invisibility. At least then Chris wouldn't have to confront him if he didn't want to.

[ooc: and that will be the mun's excuse for him not doing anything later :D;]

Wizardmon entered cautiously, and green eyes widened above the high collar that concealed his mouth, taking in the whole scene. Even living in the Digiworld all his life couldn't have prepared him for the sight and feel of this. His magical senses were abuzz - the very air tingled oddly.

He stepped further in, admiring the fish. While he hadn't been specifically invited, the unusual girl had seemed to want company, and he'd been intrigued by her oddly insightful responses over the journals. Besides all that, there were very few Digimon who would refuse free snacks if offered, and Wizardmon was not one of them.

"You must be Miss Delirium," he said, approaching the girl at the end of the hall. "I'm Wizardmon, it's good to meet you in person."

Wizardmon considered the question for a moment before responding. "A little bit of home has found me," he told her. "I'm not as lost as I was, although I'm still far from home...but that's true of everyone here, isn't it?" He watched her drift closer as he approached, and idly wondered just what she was.

"The decorations are lovely," he added, glancing around once more at the hall's swirling colors. "Did you do all of this yourself?"

Nny had selected some of his... nicer clothes to wear to this occasion. A plain black shirt with pinstripe sleeves and a pair of cut-off pinstripe pants. It was nice to have the clothes here in Paradisa, ones that he had never had to scrub really hard to get the blood out.

He peeked into the hall. Rainbows and fish. Definitely Delirium's work. Also, he took note that there weren't very many people. That was good, he did poorly around crowds. For Del's sake. he had left his knives and other goodies back in his room, along with his stuffed Kitty and his german shepard, Dog.

He hoped that wasn't a poor decision.

He finally stepped into the room, black clothes contrasting painfully with the bright colors. He looked to the food table... disorganized, of course. But in the middle... was that... a slushy machine?!

It took everything he had not to make a little noise of glee.

[identity profile] paintswithblood.livejournal.com 2008-03-09 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
Focused on the machine, he hardly even saw Del coming until she was right there.

"Buhhh...." Nny had to blink a couple of times before responding. "Oh, yes. Sure... no problem... right."

Claire wasn't really sure what to expect. She only knew about this Del person from the journals. She was a friend of Peter's... and a little weird. Then again, weird in Paradisa was to be expected.

Taking the stairs, Claire was dressed in a pair of jeans and a white blouse. Almost semi-formal. Her hair was loose around her shoulders, straight instead of her usual curls. Ever since she remembered California, it just seemed to fit.

However, what met Claire in the main hall didn't quite fit in with the rest of the castle. "Whoa," she gasped to herself. So this is why they tell you not to do drugs, she thought looking around at the decor.

Guilmon was so excited. Cake was amazing, it was like sweet bread with delicious sugary goodness on top. What could be better? Well, a peanut butter cake would be the best, but whatever was there.

Guilmon was literally dragging his tamer behind him and then ran into the main room, grinning like crazy. "Takatomon! Look at the fish! And the colors, ooohhh."

[identity profile] goggleheaded.livejournal.com 2008-03-09 05:17 am (UTC)(link)
"...Whoa! Look at this place, Guilmon!!"

To say Takato was surprised would be an understatement. He hoped that Guilmon wouldn't tear his arm off as the boy skidded to a stop, amazed by the flying fish and rainbow colors. How did they get the decorations to look like this? Were those fish real?

"This is so cool!"

Haku smiled sweetly as he ran a hand down his pink kimono, it was simple, but it would do. He ran a hand down his tiny wrapped up present, unsure if he was suppose to bring one or not.

Nonetheless, he hummed a soft tune to himself as he walked into the room and set down the gift. He ran a hand through his long black hair and put on a warm smile as he went out to meet new people.

A chuckle came from his mouth as he bowed his head at her, smiling softly. He then waved gently at her before tilting his head.

"Oh goodness! You can tell I am a boy? How very interesting...and yes, I would love some food."
