Who: Everybody willing to pop up
What: A party
When: 9pm EST
Where: The front hall
Rating: Low...
The front hall is bright with rainbows. Fish fly here to there like there's water to support them, and music dances constantly at the edge of hearing in an eerie echo against the walls.
Windows glitter and sparkle and pictures play across them, telling a story about each Endless, all of them opening up to a new world of thought. The front doors are flung open to let the air in, and faerie lights glimmer on all the foliage nearby.
The food is set up against one wall. In the very center is a platter of those little weenies and a slushy machine, but spreading out along both sides are fruits and meats and pastas and lots of chocolate. There's no order to the food, each course mixed in with all the rest.
Delirium stands at the end of the hall in front of the outside doors in a black fishnet dress. The cloth is constantly moving, opening and closing, hiding and revealing. Every thought runs through her mind, and finally settles on...
Please come... please please please...

He hadn't been entirely sure what to wear, so he settled on a black shirt and black jacket, with dress pants and shoes. Black was a color that suited him quite well, and he pulled it off without looking like he was going to a funeral. The room was decorated in a very... Del-like way. There was no other way to describe it. Peter smiled to himself as he took a walk around the room. Del had put a lot of time and energy into this. He hoped a lot of people would come.

"It was loud and Del made it quieterier but Del wasn't sure so now its kinda louder again and what does he think?" She spilled out, all at once.
She was worried. She hated worrying. It made the colours much less appealing...

"I think it all looks great, Del," he told her gently. "Everyone will have a really good time. Don't worry."
no subject
She drifted away a little, heading to meet Blue Lover King.
"Del thinks maybe he should take a chance. Del thinks maybe he needs to work things out if they feel so bad. Del thinks maybe I think too much..." So it was mysterious and confusing. What could she do? She wished they would feel better. Everybody so sad.
Well... That's what the party was for.

At long last, he stepped over the threshhold. The king of the stage was ever of tall presence but short self, smiling brightly, blue highlights in hair adding to the subtle blue sheen to his black, subtle plaid tunic. Leather boots laced to his knees. At his side rested a sword, and on his shoulders sat a silver cape. He looked more like a servant of Nyx than ever. If he could not dance with a sun child this evening, then he would shoot for the moon.
"My dear Deli-chan!" he called out across the fish-inhabited expanse. "What a beautiful place this is! And made all the more pleasing with yours within it." He crossed the floor quickly, not seeing Peter, instead bowing before the chaotic queen and taking her hand for a polite kiss to it if allowed.

"He came and it's good cuz there's touchable music. Move the things let them soar and Del got food too!" The food seemed important. The food was important, right? Like the thingy that kept them all something to stand by... stand... standing in the rain...
Del's dual coloured eyes unfocused slightly as her mind drifted a little...

"Touchable music...? That does sound intriguing," Romeo remarked as he rose to his feet. "Would you show me, sweet Deli-chan?"
no subject
Yes. Decided, Delirium scooped up his other hand as she thought how nice it would be to turn the music up. Is there a switch...? Unimportant. Swaying closer to Blue Lover King, she tried to figure out which of the songs she was hearing was the right one.
"He has to let it glitter in him. Del can't lead... Too much sound. He should just reach out and..." She shrugged, hoping it was explanation enough. It was so very hard to make people understand.

Thinking of Del's room made him wonder why he was actually coming to her party in the first place - it couldn't possibly be much better than the chaos of her room, yet... She was one of his few friends in the Castle and one of the two who seemed to know anything more than just the superficial details of his past. That merited at least an appearance, right? Shaking his head, Chris entered the hall and glanced around. Ow. He noticed Romeo right off - it was hard not to - then Del in the back, and finally Peter.
This was great. Two of the people he was currently avoiding and his temporary-roommate that he really didn't want to upset by leaving... all in the same room.

So... he sighed, and faded into invisibility. At least then Chris wouldn't have to confront him if he didn't want to.
[ooc: and that will be the mun's excuse for him not doing anything later :D;]

She watched him wander around and decided maybe a way out would be good even if she did want him to stay because she wanted so badly for things to go well. Would things go well? Well... tumble don't fall behind over under see them well...

He stepped further in, admiring the fish. While he hadn't been specifically invited, the unusual girl had seemed to want company, and he'd been intrigued by her oddly insightful responses over the journals. Besides all that, there were very few Digimon who would refuse free snacks if offered, and Wizardmon was not one of them.
"You must be Miss Delirium," he said, approaching the girl at the end of the hall. "I'm Wizardmon, it's good to meet you in person."

She went drifting toward him on her tippy toes, so he wouldn't have to walk to entire length of the hall, swaying gently to completely different music than what was playing.

"The decorations are lovely," he added, glancing around once more at the hall's swirling colors. "Did you do all of this yourself?"

He peeked into the hall. Rainbows and fish. Definitely Delirium's work. Also, he took note that there weren't very many people. That was good, he did poorly around crowds. For Del's sake. he had left his knives and other goodies back in his room, along with his stuffed Kitty and his german shepard, Dog.
He hoped that wasn't a poor decision.
He finally stepped into the room, black clothes contrasting painfully with the bright colors. He looked to the food table... disorganized, of course. But in the middle... was that... a slushy machine?!
It took everything he had not to make a little noise of glee.

She ended in front of Nny and reached out to grab his hand, stopping short before touching him and instead saying, "Come seeeee. Come see the foooooood, yes?"
no subject
"Buhhh...." Nny had to blink a couple of times before responding. "Oh, yes. Sure... no problem... right."

Taking the stairs, Claire was dressed in a pair of jeans and a white blouse. Almost semi-formal. Her hair was loose around her shoulders, straight instead of her usual curls. Ever since she remembered California, it just seemed to fit.
However, what met Claire in the main hall didn't quite fit in with the rest of the castle. "Whoa," she gasped to herself. So this is why they tell you not to do drugs, she thought looking around at the decor.

"Don't do what they say not to. Del's home isn't usually for others. Very homey today..."

Guilmon was literally dragging his tamer behind him and then ran into the main room, grinning like crazy. "Takatomon! Look at the fish! And the colors, ooohhh."
no subject
To say Takato was surprised would be an understatement. He hoped that Guilmon wouldn't tear his arm off as the boy skidded to a stop, amazed by the flying fish and rainbow colors. How did they get the decorations to look like this? Were those fish real?
"This is so cool!"

"Paradise Lost didn't give any lakes. Fishies prefer breezy anyway. Do they want to touch?" She greeted. Well, perhaps she barged, but was there a difference?
Barge. Barged. Barging. What about rivers...?

Nonetheless, he hummed a soft tune to himself as he walked into the room and set down the gift. He ran a hand through his long black hair and put on a warm smile as he went out to meet new people.
no subject
Oh dear... his back... Sliding around to the front, she grinned up at him and waved again.
"Welcome to Lost. Does he want food?"
no subject
"Oh goodness! You can tell I am a boy? How very interesting...and yes, I would love some food."
