[Thread] Delirium and Henry, meeting over robots.
Who: Delirium (
fishy_go_byebye) and Henry (
h_townshend)
What: Henry runs down to Del's room to help her fend off the robot hordes!
When: Tuesday, June 19th
Where: Transit >> Room 613
Rating: PG-13 to be safe...Henry's mun likes to swear ;D
Under normal circumstances, Henry was not a man prone to violence.
Sure he'd seen his share of it, but that had been self-defense (and the defense of others, however badly he may have failed at both....). Today, however, was different. He'd been through hell recently. Again. And now, on top of everything, the plans he'd been working on so hard were being derailed because of a robot invasion.
A robot invasion.
Henry seriously wished, just for a split second, that anyone who'd ever complained of boredom over the journals would just spontaneously drop dead.
And then, to vent some anger, he'd grabbed the fire ax that had recently been given him by the castle and had gone out to do some serious damage to the robot hordes. Swatting them around in the hallway with Crowley had been fun enough, but then he'd gotten to talking over his journal during a break. That's when he'd started talking to Delirium again, and the (girl? he didn't even know, really) had asked him for help.
Assuring Crowley that he would be back shortly, Henry shouldered his ax and set off in the direction of the stairwell. There were more robots to murder.

If she had, had her powers... If she weren't here... if... if... if. Saddly, 'if's weren't especially helpful, even when you forgot what you were iffing about halfway through.
She squealed a little when the door buckled slightly and mumbled about the corners crying as the thumping of homicidal robots grew ever louder. She should have stayed home that day. She knew purple kitties were bad for her, they always got her in some kind of trouble...

There was one right outside the door leading to the floor when he arrived on the landing--he could hear it whirring and clicking around. Henry grabbed the door handle, braced his shoulder against the door, and shoved. The robot went flying with a clanking sound and the man shot out through the doorway, ax at the ready. A few good smacks and the robot wouldn't be doing much more than making funny sounds from now on.
Six thirteen, six thirteen...ah. There it is.
A couple of the things were busy thumping against the door. Henry worked his way quietly, slowly behind and to the side of one of them, winding up as he inched along...and then swung his ax hard into one of the robots, much like one would swing a baseball bat. The first robot hit the other with a metallic crack! and both went flying.
Of course, they'd be back in a second. The man pulled his ax back around and braced himself.

"knight rode in on the metal wooden horse..." she mumbled to herself as she stood up to go and look out upon the commotion. She hummed a little as she walked to the door, opening it quickly to glance out and moving to the side just in time ti avoid some flying metal part.
She watched as robots flew around the room and hemmed a little before noticing Henry right in front of her door. "Oh! Mr. Henry person is here. Hi!" she smiled and waved, completely oblivious to the danger going on.
