Thread: A CUP OF COFFEE!
Who: Lana and Touya
What: A cup of coffee?
When: After this
Where: All over the place? I dun know D:
Rating: NO HIGHER THAN PG-13 WHAT xD
Touya was sitting around in his room. There seemed to be nothing exciting going on, except for making pancakes for Kanda and Ravi. Of course, periods of rest were good. The big black Menos Grande, as everyone was calling it, was not pretty and destroyed a fair bit of rooms. Touya glanced back at the journal again, the only interesting thing was people wanting handcuffs and leather belts. He scanned around the pages searching for Lana’s handwriting. She was the one who wanted to get a cup of coffee and talk about things and it was a week all ready and there was still no response. Suddenly Touya felt the presence of a ghost. He looked up and saw it had a note for him. With a confusing look he took the note and said his thanks to the ghost.

As he was receiving said note Lana was reaching the kitchen. She took down a large, tall mug and wandered over to the ginormous insane coffee/cappucino/espresso/french fry/superman machine that had appeared in the newly remade kitchen. She had almost peed her pants when she saw it. This thing was top of the line. She'd wanted one for the Talon but it had been WAAAAY too expensive. SHe'd have had to ask Lex..and she didn't like asking Lex for things. She began to mess with some switches to turn it on.

Touya got up and stepped out of his newly fix!room and started walking down the stairs. He finally got to the kitchen and was searching around for a girl and a coffeemaker? He lifted his eyes when he saw some girl pushing random buttons on a brand new machine.

She hopped up and down in a circle, shaking the hand that the most of the boiling hot water had offended as if doing so would make it stop hurting. She finally turned to an angle that she could see that a dark haired man was watching her then stopped in mid jump/hand shake. She stood posed in that odd position for a second, her face turning red as she stood there. She then straightened up, looking embarrassed, "aaaah...hullo...."

She smiled good naturedly, "Lovely to meet you too. I sometimes I forget that I've never actually MET the people I talk to through the journal."
She turned back to the machine when he mentioned it and nodded, "yes! It's WONDERFUL! I wanted one for my coffee shop back home but hadn't quite managed to save enough to afford one.... I'm not exactly sure how to work it yet."
She finally hit the right button and it began to steam the milk she'd just put in. She had decided on a Snickers latte for the day. She glanced back at Touya, "What would you like? Cappuccino? Latte? Espresso? Chai? Drip coffee? This thing can make anything you desire related to coffee. Someday I swear I'm going to find out it makes pastries." She laughed lightly.

"You own a coffee shop?" Touya asked with some excitment in his voice. A coffee shop was one of the few places he had yet to work at. Normal 10 year olds don't walk down to Starbucks all the time, so Touya never had the chance to work at one.
Touya looked at the big coffee machine blankly and was trying to comprehend the different options Lana had just given him, it didn't help that he didn't know what any of them were. "Errr..An Espresso?" he said after a few minutes, he could also get something else if it turned out to be gross.

She tapped her fingers then set her Latte aside to start his espresso. She hoped he liked being hyper.... "Yeah I own a coffee shop. It used to be a theater but I converted the whole front concessions area into a coffee shop. We play old movies for promotions and stuff in the theater section and have parties and gettogethers there and things. It's really fun."
She looked back, "You sure you want an espresso? They're pretty strong."

"Your coffee shop sounds like a good place Sakura would go to and most likely where I'd go and try to get another part time job to add along to my 15 others...," Touya commented after thinking it over a few times.
Touya gave Lana a questioning glance, "Strong? Like flavor-wise? I don't mind that."

"Yes, fifteen. Sakura goes to a lot of places, I have to be sure she's all right," Touya said with a not-caring manner, "It's usually not too bad since my friend Yukito generally comes along with me."

She hopped onto the counter and picked up her latte, sipping at it and waiting for his reaction.

"Oh! Have you shown Kadaj this yet? He likes learning things from you! We should introduce this to him and Loz. I became a brother for them apparently." Touya said, his mind was not going to be happy with him later for the lack of logic but Touya didn't really care.

She chuckled at the thought of it even though she probably should have cringed.
"How did you and Kadaj get to know each other?"

Lana smiled, thinking about Kadaj. She then glanced at Touya, "Figuring out why I was hesitant to give you an espresso yet?"
no subject
"Hesitant? You were not hesitant at all!" Touya said with a frown. Touya walked over to the fridge. "I'm thirsty now and I definitly do not want another want of those latte things."
