[thread] Save Otogi!!

Who: Lana, Otogi (and any other saviors?)
What: Saving Otogi from the fuzzy pink dice of DOOM!
When: Immeejiately (Translation: Immediatly)
Where: Otogi's room
Rating: PG I suppose

Lana was glad that Otogi's room was only a floor down from hers. She got SO sick of running up and down the stairs. She was in great shape, though, she had to say. Eating all the ice cream she pleased and not having to worry in the least.
She couldn't help but find this whole situation funny. Attack of the fuzzy pink dice? Come on. You don't get much more bizarre than that, even in Paradisa.
When she reached Otogi's door she tapped on it. "Otogi? It's Lana, can I come in?" she called in case he couldn't hear the knock through all of the fluff.

Otogi heard Lana enter the room. Finally he was going to be rescued.
"Next to the bed," he called out to her. This is rather embarrassing, he thought.

"Not really," Otogi said, stretching his arms into the air. "Thanks, Lana." He sat up. "This is a little embarrassing," he said, sheepishly. Then he looked at Lana's somewhat pained face, and burst out laughing.

Now that he was no longer trapped by the dice, he found the situation very amusing. Apparantly so did Lana. Otogi watched her flip backward into the dice. She seemed to be enjoying herself. Otogi wanted to try it too, but was a little wary of getting stuck again. Oh well, Lana was here to help him if he did, so what the heck? He stood up on the bed and jumped headfirst into a large pile. As he reemerged he grinned at Lana, "Wow, I feel like a little kid again! This has got to be the most fun I've had in this castle yet."

Otogi caught the dice and twirled them expertly around his fingers, winding them around each one in rapid succession. Even though they were much larger than the ones he normally played with, he was still adept at making them look like a blur in his hand.
"You're definitely right, Lana," he said, flipping the dice onto his other hand.

"That's what I was trying to figure out before I was, uh, taken hostage by these things." He picked up a handful and tossed them out the still open window, which the bird had thankfully flown out of. He leaned out to watch them fall to the ground and realized that there was a balcony below him. "Well, somebody's going to look out their window and get a big surprise," he chuckled, and threw an armful out.

"The castle won't let you get rid of a picture? Mind if I ask what the picture's of?" Otogi asked Lana, curiously, continuing to hurl dice out the window. "And I wonder who's room is below this one..."

"Oh," Otogi said, sensing that Lana didn't want to talk about it. She obviously missed the person very much.

"No one can kick MY ass," he said, his ego somewhat injured.

Otogi raised his eyebrows at Lana. "I wouldn't want you to get hurt." He said, teasing her back.
