anger management issues [Log] =D

who: Loz, Lana, and anyone else who happens by (we'll make separate comment threads since he'll prolly be here for a while. unless your char wants to barge in another thread =3)
what: loz is angry and decides to try to beat up the castle [[ let's hope this vents some anger for the tourney X3]
when: yesterday
where: 12th floor hallway =D

Describing Loz as angry would have done no justice to how much he was fuming right now. Word from Kadaj that something just wasn't right - that the castle had taken something from him and he was now broken - really just set Loz off. He was already upset that he'd forgotten mother, that two Clouds were now here, and Yazoo was still missing, so this recent news just made everything so much worse.

He'd already taken apart his notebook, page by painstaking page, and it somehow was all back together again, which only seemed to piss him off more. And so now, he wanted to get revenge on the castle, the castle that took his memories away, the castle that broke Kadaj, the castle that just messed everything up.

And so he took to the hallway. His notebook was already out there after he threw it out the door and against the wall in a fit of rage, so why not take down the wall itself? He'd managed to destroy columns in Aeris's church and trees in the Forgotten Capital of the Ancients, so a wall couldn't be that much more difficult, right? It was only made of stone or at least a similar material, which, if hit properly, would crumple like paper. Well that's at least what he thought would happen. Loz was never one to think things through. That was Kadaj or Yazoo's job and Kadaj already gave him the green light. It was time to pummel some wall.

In a swift movement, fist met wall with a resounding bam which most likely resonated pretty far. Not a crack; not even a DENT. What was this wall made from? What could possibly be this strong that loz could not take it down? Well, whatever it was, Loz was angry, even more so now. without his pile-bunker, the Dual Hound, his efforts might be all in vain, but that wasn't going to stop him.

Lana found herself very easily bored in this castle. Well…in her room at least. There was so much strange stuff outside of her room that there’s no way she could be too bored. Today she’d taken to wandering the halls and reading all of the names on the door plaques. Some of them were really bizarre. She was pretty cheerful today seeing as her iPod had just shown up in one of her drawers randomly. Now…if only her cell phone would do the same..not that she’d get service here.

She was reading the name plates when suddenly WHAM! She was awakened from her little reverie of musing about strange names to a loud sound. She turned and stared. Lana had begun to make a list in her mind of some of the strangest things she’d seen and heard in Paradisa thus far. She decided this probably could be added to the list. So she made a mental note, ‘large, leather clad man with funny white hair beats crap out of wall.’

He was actually fairly good looking in a huge, angry sort of way. Apparently he had an affinity for black leather since it was all he was wearing. She imagined that it chaffed.
Without really thinking she cocked her head and asked, “Angry?”

She could have kicked herself. Lana Lang, since when is it ok to talk to huge, angry, leather clad men who have enough sanity to be attacking walls? What was she thinking?

Lana gave him an odd look then looked from him to down at her own body, "Not unless I've had some very important memories and several years from my age erased."

Running would be good now Lana, he wasn't looking any happier. Or maybe disappearing into Dilan's room or something. It was around here somewhere. She leaned back on one of her legs as if she was going to leave but she changed her mind. For some reason she didn't feel actually threatened by this fellow...though perhaps that meant the castle had taken her sanity since anyone in their right mind probably SHOULD be afraid of this fellow.

She refused to squirm under that unbelievably intense gaze. "Do I look like your mother?" she asked with genuine curiosity. HELL! Who knew! Stranger things had happened in this place.

Lana didn't need to see his face to know he was crying. She stared at his turned back. This HUGE man, this man who anyone in their right mind (which she clearly wasn't) would be leary of, who if you were walking on the same side of the street as you'd cross...was crying....about his mother. How TERRIBLY heartbreaking in a very bizarre way! She could relate to what it was like to lose a mother!

Lana stepped forward toward him and reached out her hand toward his shoulder (or as high up on his back as she could reach, rather) but stopped and pulled back. Probably a bad idea...or was it? She moved her hand back and forth several inches a few times then it struck her. The castle had taken his mother. That sounded terribly familiar. She stared, eye brows shooting up. She looked up and down his huge frame. There was no way..no way...
This huge man COULDN't be Loz could he?! That sweet, sad little person she'd met through the journal? It just wasn't possible....was it? She reached out her hand again then one more time pulled it back and locked it behind herself. She'd been lucky thus far but the man had just been punching shit, she didn't want to press her luck TOO far... She ducked slightly around him to see his face, her brows lowered with something between confusion and curiosity, "L..Loz?"

Lana could have died when he turned to her, making a sound of recognition at the name Loz. No...no way. This guy!? THIS GUY was sensitive little Loz!?
It took her a moment to realize that he had no idea who she was. For some reason she had the habit of thinking that since SHE knew who she was everyone did. She shook her head suddenly then gestured to herself with both hands, "Lana...Lana as in Lana from the weird magical journal." She glanced on the floor at where it was laying at a strange angle, "The one that's...on the floor?"

[identity profile] percipience.livejournal.com 2007-02-21 04:43 am (UTC)(link)
Lana watched him grind the journal into the floor with his boot. His very huge and manly boot. She was still having problems believing that this was Loz. She'd pictured a little boy!
For some reason she found an odd fascination in watching him destroy the journal. Some part of her had wanted to do something similar this whole time. There was a part of her buried deep down that hated this castle and everything linked to it but she'd supressed it for the sake of her sanity. Loz, apparently, had not. Either that or someone had said something that he really didn't like.

She managed to break her enthralled stare at the smashing of the book and look up at Loz, eyebrows threatening her hairline again, "Did someone say something bad to you?"

[identity profile] percipience.livejournal.com 2007-02-21 05:03 am (UTC)(link)
Lana's eyes widened considerably. He had just done something that was more than the equivilent of tearing a phone book in half. She looked at where the book was lying in two pieces for several moments before looking back at Loz, startled.
Then with a look of determination she walked up to the wall and kicked it. It hurt. The damn thing bit back! Well..it didn't...but kicking a wall generally resulted in a little bit of pain. Equal and opposite and whatnot.

She wasn't sure why she did it. She knew very well kicking the castle wasn't about to 'fix' Loz's brother but for some reason she had felt terribly inclined to help.

[identity profile] percipience.livejournal.com 2007-02-21 05:38 am (UTC)(link)
Lana flinched as his fist met the wall. She looked at him in wonder then reached out and, without really thinking touched his arm and leaned over to look at his hand, "Doesn't that HURT?!"
The man was huge but the shock of his age and badassery was beginning to wear off as he said things like 'stupid mean castle'. He was certainly the Loz she'd met in the journal. She'd just completely misjudged his appearance.

[identity profile] percipience.livejournal.com 2007-02-21 05:55 am (UTC)(link)
Lana looked startled as he jerked away and cocked her head at his apparently unhappy expression. Did he not like being touched? Did it hurt him when she touched him. She blinked slowly at him, her hand not moving from the position it had been in when she touched him. She stood that way for several moments before she said something, "I'm sorry...did that hurt you? I didn't mean to.....sorry."
She wasn't quite sure what to say because she wasn't quite sure what his reaction meant. It was a very strange reaction to someone touching you.

[identity profile] percipience.livejournal.com 2007-02-21 06:44 am (UTC)(link)
Lana dropped her hands looking vaguely concerned but more than a little bit fascinated. What a strange, strange person this was. She cocked her head to the other side and folded her hands in front of her, intensely curious. "Why not?" she asked boldly.
The rational part of her brain ranted in her head about being cautious, stupidity, and insanity but as was common with Lana she more or less disregarded it. This was waaaay too interesting to be very cautious about.

[identity profile] percipience.livejournal.com 2007-02-21 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Lana made a strange face between being a little hurt and curious. She looked around and saw what she was looking for, a short table at the side of a hall. There was a vase on it. She walked over, took the vase off and dragged the table awkwardly to near where she'd been standing before. She then crawled on it and sat cross-legged leaning forward curiously.
"Do you just not like me or does no one ever touch you nicely?"
Lana's nerves were beginning to tingle. Her mind could sense his...not hostility but...his defensiveness. Instinctively she knew he had been THIS close to crushing her to bits. Logically she probably should have left off the subject but Lana was far from logical in these matters. To her he wasn't angry WITH HER, he seemed more confused and defensive than anything. She was pretty sure he wouldn't hurt her and if he did...well...oh well. Pain was inevitable in life. If someone went around avoiding it they'd have a very boring existance indeed.

[identity profile] percipience.livejournal.com 2007-02-21 10:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Lana blinked at him. He hadn't even answered one part of her question. "Okay," she said finally. "No touching unless I want to fight...though just so you know I'll never want to fight you."
She folded her hands in her lap. "First of all..." she glanced up and down his entire height then shook her head, "There is no way, in this world or the next, that I could ever harm you even if I was to try because...well...there's just no way." She gave him a little smile. She was tiny, he was huge, she had no powers and he was kinda scary. "Second, I don't think I'd ever WANT to hurt you even if I could. I just don't see why I would want to," She said with a little shrug and a smile at him.

[identity profile] percipience.livejournal.com 2007-02-21 10:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Lana nodded, "I know, I know. No touching. Sorry."

She hopped off the table and picked up the vase that she'd dropped, "Wanna break a vase?"
She had almost offered to have him break her table but then where would she sit? It would have been most inconvenient for her. And Loz looked more like he wanted to break stuff than talk. She was a little weirded out about the touching subject. She couldn't touch him but he wondered if he could touch her? She decided to wait a little bit before asking that question.

[identity profile] percipience.livejournal.com 2007-02-21 10:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Lana was utterly surprised, she'd expected him to fling it against the wall or stomp it with those scary!boots or something. That worked too though, she supposed. He was terribly strong, that's for sure. She smirked at him then raised a finger to point at nothing in particular, "Easy....but very satisfying."
She looked around, "Wait lemme get another one."
She scurried off down the hall and grabbed two more of them since they were lining the walls between every other door. She came back hauling two in her arms. She handed one to him then took her own and chucked it against the wall. God...that felt really good. She gave Loz a big grin and waited for him to dispose of his own.

[identity profile] percipience.livejournal.com 2007-02-21 11:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Lana jumped a little again. She couldn't help but be SLIGHTLY freaked out that he could just...smash stuff...with his hands. She pursed her lips and looked around for something else to smash. She'd suggest he go at the wall again but he didn't seem to be making any progress on THAT...which surprised her because he was obviously VERY strong. She looked at her table then at Loz...it took her a while to debate with herself whether or not she was going to sit down again but then grabbed it and dragged it over closer to Loz being extremely careful not to bump into him on accident then she scuttled back a ways. "For you!" She smiled. She wouldn't be able to smash it but he could. Smashing things was much better anger management then trying to smash things and failing like he was with the wall. Maybe it would make him feel better.

[identity profile] percipience.livejournal.com 2007-02-21 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Lana smiled at him then looked down and locked her hands behind her back in a way that was almost shy. She looked up at him, "So...I have a question...I know I'm not allowed to touch you. No touching! Because I don't want to fight!"
She smiled, "But are you allowed to touch me?" She held out one of her hands just slightly, palm up unthreateningly and pointed to the middle of her palm, "Like there?"

[identity profile] percipience.livejournal.com 2007-02-21 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
She looked down, frustrated, "But..it doesn't mean that for me." Lana sighed gustilly and went to lean back on the table that she had just given to Loz to crush, forgetting that she'd done just that. Her eyes widened as she lost her balance when the table announced that it was missing by not being there. She nearly fell and caught her balance then looked embarrassed. "....I forgot." She suddenly felt intensely embarrassed. Way to be distracted Lana, way to be distracted!

[identity profile] percipience.livejournal.com 2007-02-22 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
Lana shook her head, "No it's not. Well, not for me." She looked around for a moment, feeling frustrated with her inability to communicate what she wanted him to understand. She noticed some of the flowers from the vases they'd smashed on the floor. She leaned down and picked one up. "See? I'm touching this flower but I'm not being mean to it. I'm just holding it."
She then shook her head and smiled at him, setting the flower back down gently, "Never mind, it's ok that you don't understand. Maybe I can explain it someday."

[identity profile] percipience.livejournal.com 2007-02-22 02:33 am (UTC)(link)
Lana actually laughed cheerfully at what he said and gave him a bright smile, "No, I suppose they dont. But...neither do I." She winked at Loz. She then glanced down the hall, "Well, Loz, I think I need to get something to eat so I'll leave you to your castle beating. Kick its ass!" She gave her fist a little toss in a 'woohoo' sort of manner then smiled and waved. "I'll see you later, ok?"
