[Log] Battle 1 Tournament Sokka Vs. Zexion (Winner - Sokka)

Who: Zexion, Sokka, Iroh, Suki, Dilan
What: Paradisa Tournament
When: Yesterday
Where: Outside the castle in a field.
Rating: PG 13 (Violence AND BLOOOOOD...DUH)

Status: Full health
Zexion Turn 1:
Zexion arrived at the designated arena by means of one of his usual portals, but he was surprised to find the fighting conditions consisted of a lot of grass and trees. Ignoring any of the gathering guests or even his opponent, he took a seat in the field and set one of his two chosen weapons, a plain stick, down nearby. No use in rushing a fight when he knew nothing of the other fighter.

Status: Full health
Sokka Turn 1:
Sokka stood on his respective end of the field, as well, grinning at the spectators then at this Zexion guy. He had weird colored hair, but whatever. The Water Tribe boy stretched, flexed his muscles, then patted his back and the side of his leg, making sure his trusted boomerang and machete were there.

Spectator: Suki watched Sokka walk on the field, pink hair and all, and couldn't stop herself from giggling. Hopefully, he would fair better in this fight than in their mock-training. "All right Sokka! You can do it--you'd better win!"

Status: Full health
Zexion Turn 2:
Zexion remained absolutely still, studying the younger man for a few seconds longer. This was going to get old and fast. Reaching down beside him, he grabbed a handful of gravel and pitched one of the larger pebbles in Sokka's direction, "I wasn't aware they allowed little boys to fight in this."

Status: full health and slightly offended
Sokka Turn 2:
"Hey!" Sokka exclaimed, pulling out his machete and making sure the pebble didn't make contact. "I'm not a little kid, I'm a man!" He frowned, pulled out his boomerang from his back and threw it in Zexion's direction. No one was gonna call him a kid and get away with it.

Status: Full Health and Fully Amused
Zexion Turn 3:
That was all Zexion needed to see. Quickly picking his chosen stick up, he teleported a foot to the left to avoid the incoming weapon. He wasn't sure he could use something like that so he focused on creating an illusion of the machete instead, "You look like a kid. Sound like one, too."

Status: Full health and panicking
Sokka Turn 3:
So what if Sokka's voice was still cracking? Zexion totally didn't have to point that out, he concluded. He caught his boomerang as it returned. "Wait wha- why do you have my machete?!" Magic was something he really didn't need either. Growing a little angry, Sokka clutched his weapon in both hands and charged forward.

Spectator: Dilan smirked as he watched. He wouldn't reveal Zexion's secret, no; much as he was tempted, he knew it would only lead to trouble. Still, the illusions were highly amusing. "Go easy on him, Zexion. He doesn't know what he's dealing with, after all.."

Status: Full Health
Zexion Turn 4:
Zexion only smirked, checking his grip on the weapon's image as he finally stood up. He teleported forward first, just one step, then to the side in hopes of avoiding Sokka's initial dash. "Is it really your weapon?" He called out, paying no attention to that certain spectator's remark. With a flick of the wrist, he pointed his version of the machete at the other.

Status: Full health?
Sokka Turn 4:
Sokka flinched at the pointed weapon and stopped in his tracks. "Yeah, it is!" He didn't hestiate and threw his boomerang once again, then moved forward some in hopes of getting in close range with his machete. Oh, how he hated fighting people with magic.

Status: Full Health
Zexion Turn 5:
Zexion shrugged a shoulder and ducked forward to avoid the arch of the boomerang. He was too busy avoiding the thrown weapon and analyzing Sokka to really notice how the boy was approaching, though. "Oh. Well. If you're sure it is," he replied, feigning boredom.

Status: Full
Sokka Turn 5:
Sokka frowned, and took a long stride forward. He caught his airborne weapon as he did so, and with a strong left hand, took a slash at the other in hopes of doing some damage. Suki was watching, and he couldn't let her down.

Spectator: Suki couldn't stop herself from leaping up and shouting "Good job! I knew you could do it!" Did she really know? No, but admittedly, this was impressive and she was excited.

Status: Most Health, one slash over his chest
Zexion Turn 6:
Zexion realized his mistake a few moments too late and even his best attempts at leaning away from the strike were in vain. Folding his free arm over the wound, he lunged forward, slashing the illusion of his own machete at Sokka in hopes of driving him back. Distance was definitely better for him in this fight.

Status: Full health
Sokka Turn 6:
"Gah!" Sokka stumbled backwards a little at the sudden slash. He quickly regained his balance, though, and reached out to grab the other man's extended arm. He frowned a little, and gave a yell and threw his free hand forward. What he was trying to do, he had no idea.

Status: Most health/same slash and off balance
Zexion Turn 7:
Zexion jerked slightly, almost dropping the machete illusion in surprise. Tugging at his arm, he was forced to abandon the idea of putting distance between them. When the hand came toward him, he turned his head away and blocked with his other wrist. In removing his arm from around his chest, though, the pain flared. Grimacing, he teleported a foot to the side.

Status: Full health
Sokka Turn 7:
"...Bwuh!" Sokka looked back and forth between his empty hand and where Zexion now stood. That was certainly strange. Getting over his confusion quickly, he ducked down and lashed his leg out, trying to pull what he did to Suki before. Just, hopefully Zexion wouldn't land on top of him. That would be awkward. And weird.

Status: Some health, way off balance. Balance? What balance?
Zexion Turn 8:
It's not as though Zexion had a choice in the matter. He was moments away from reaching into his pocket, tugging out a few sheets of journal paper to aid in his illusions, but it was then the boy's leg caught on his own and he fell forward, sprawled on top of his opponent. He'd entered the fight for information on the other guests. No amount of information could have been worth the pain and newfound sense of embarrassment. "Smooth move."

Status: Almost full health and being crushed
Sokka Turn 8:
Immediately flushing (what, he hated people on top of him), Sokka gave out a cry of embarrassment and flipped him over. "You weren't supposed to land on me!" he yelled.

Spectator: Dilan burst out laughing. He couldn't help it. The sight of Zexion sprawled on top of the other boy.. Sokka? Would probably give him nightmares, but was worth it, in a way. "Graceful, Zexion!"

Sokka Continuing Turn 8:
Sokka tried pushing Zexion further into the ground, and brought back his fist for one more blow.

Spectator: Iroh chuckled, amused by both the spectacle before him and by the girl beside him with her head in her hands. Sokka's number one fan seemed to have lost a little faith in him. He heard her mumble "That was totally wrong..." and shook his head. Young people. He clapped, "Very nice Sokka!"

Status: Some health and no dignity, still bleeding
Zexion Turn 9:
Zexion grit his teeth, hissing out a breath as he was shoved over on the ground. How he wished he was a bigger man. The fight might have been over with if he wasn't such a lightweight himself. "And was that my fault?" Again, he was too busy thinking to notice the fist until it'd met with his face. With a short cry of pain, he teleported back up to his feet. His machete, now reverted to the stick it'd been all along, remained on the ground.

Status: Mostly full health
Sokka Turn 9:
Sokka fell face first into the ground. Pulling himself to his feet, he spat out some dirt and swiveled to face his opponent. He took a fighting stance and braced himself for whatever weird magic trick Zexion might pull again.

Status: Decreasing health, original slash and possible broken nose
Zexion Turn 10:
Zexion had quite a variety of tricks he could have pulled, but his attention had wandered off the fight. It hurt, it all really hurt. He remembered just why he'd never been much of a fighter in the Organization- pain management wasn't his specialty. Running his hand under his nose to stem the blood flow there, he backed off, glaring at his opponent in hateful resignation. "S-stronger than you look..."
