This isn't funny, you guys! Where did you put me? Let me out of here! Is this some sort of test?! I thought we were friends already! ...Oh wait, then does that mean I'm failing? I'm not supposed to panic, right?

Okay, okay! Hakuna Matata! I'm fine. Keep me in here as long as you want, I'll definitely pass! [ A beat, then more quietly. ] I wonder if there's any food in here... This is a really weird looking cave.

No, that's not magic. That's a window.

In order to protect ourselves from the cold, rain or other things- humans make buildings- which works like a cave to protect us. Windows are made out of glass, a clear thing, that lets us see outside our buildings.

No seriously, the snow just swallowed him whole. It's quiet at first, but then several yards away there might be some muffled yowling, and some of the snow flying in his panic. HE'S STUUUCK AND HE HAS NEVER BEEN THIS COLD IN HIS ENTIRE LIFE. ]

[That yowling is so sad to hear. Even if he HATES YOUR KIND, hearing an animal in pain is not cool. So he'll pull the hood of his sweater up and head out there to try to to find the lion - all while he's trying to tell himself that it's just...a really werid looking dog and NOT a lion NO SIREE]

[ As soon as he can tell the human's near, Simba tries to get enough momentum to bounce out of the snow, but the ground just isn't firm enough. So he really only makes it halfway, head popping out of the snow long enough for him to see and latch onto Allen's leg.

And proceed to climb up him to scramble around and cling to his shoulders, completely drenched and freezing. The last time he was this scared, well...! ]

[Excuse him as he has a mini panick attack right then and there from a lion JUMPING ON HIM AND CLIMBING ON HIM. Though he completely deserves this really Shaking and cringing and yelping and all that]

[Running back inside now while making sure that lion doesn't slip off him and slamming the door shut- away from the cold!]

[ And yeah his claws might be getting you good, because he's in such a panic as he leaps off of this guy and onto the floor, slipping and tumbling a bit.

Scrambling back up, fur clinging to him as he shivers, all he can think of is how there's no way he can describe this kind of cold, but he's felt that kind of fear before, like he might die any moment. Having to actually call for help again!

It only reminds him of how reckless he really is, and how he can't make any good decisions. What if this human thing had died trying to save him, too? ]

S—sorry! I'm sorry! I should have listened!

[ Not wanting to let anyone see him cry, though, he ducks his head and races off, slipping and sliding as he goes. When he slides and smacks against one of the pillars, that just makes him worse, and he darts off around the corner like his tail's on fire. This day has simply been too much for him. ]

[Wow that is...pretty dramatic considering you do what his idiot dogs do every flipping morning when it's time to go outside and Elyan has done at least once.]

[He also knows that poor thing got soaked to the bone, and needs to be warmed up quickly unless he wants even worse problems. So he'll quickly follow after around the corner]

[ And he's in a corner, curled up as small as he can get, paws over his muzzle and crying. ]

[He approaches, kneeling down near Simba. He'll reach over and very tentatively put his hand on Simba to give him a bit of warmth and comfort, though his gloves are still very much on]

[ He sniffs, and sets his paws back down, sitting up and shivering a bit. ]

We should get you warmed up, all right? Things will seem a bit better once you're not cold and hungry.

Yeah... Okay.

[ He really isn't a fan of this. At least in the jungle he could run around wherever he wanted, and catch his own food. This is no freedom at all. Maybe this is his punishment?

Either way, he's still not going to let himself freeze to death, so after standing back up he gives himself another shake to try and get rid of what little bit of water he can. ]

[You have to be the most dramatic cat ever. He meanwhile wishes for a towel and a blanket and uses the towel to help Simba with that drying process like you would any animal after a bath- but gently so, so the lion doesn't freak out and claw him more or in reverse, he has a panic attack from being so close to a lion]

[ He starts to back up at that, before realizing he has nowhere to go because he's in a corner. Normally that alone would make his defensive instincts kick in, but he remembers this human is trying to be friendly.

At the explanation, he tries to hold still. It reminds him a little of how his mom would have dried him, of course that would have been with her tongue... ]
