One good thing about being in here instead of back home is there's no Myrtle Edmonds! I think her bright hair was starting to blind me... Maybe that's why she wears glasses? Yeah. Probably. I don't miss her. Another thing I like is that it's a big castle! A real, big castle! Like ones you see on TV or postcards!
That's pretty cool.

Not nice at all! She was the meanest friend I've ever had. She liked to call me weirdlo and make fun of my dog.
Christmas? Oh! I'd like some more Elvis records! And maybe s'more muumuu's! And a new doll! [sighs] I don't think I got here with my old doll, Scrump.

Yeah! She said he was ugly! Then he pushed her off her bike and kind of rode away with it.
[laughs] That sounds like another dog!
She was green, with blonde hair and a pink bow! I made her myself! She had button eyes too! Her head was a little big. I've tried wishing her here, but... It doesn't work.

It is! He's my new dog, Blue. I got him at the animal shelter in town.

Your doll sounds like she was really neat ... is she your loss?
