[someone's excited for Christmas. Lilo's using her journal to doodle a poorly-doodle'd Christmas tree. With presents underneath, of course. She's also humming Christmas Carols - mostly 'Sant Clause is coming to town.' Not very well or very quietly.]

One good thing about being in here instead of back home is there's no Myrtle Edmonds! I think her bright hair was starting to blind me... Maybe that's why she wears glasses? Yeah. Probably. I don't miss her. Another thing I like is that it's a big castle! A real, big castle! Like ones you see on TV or postcards!
That's pretty cool.

[This little girl's just going to be exploring almost every square inch of the castle that she can, getting a feel of the place. From the library and the kitchen to the grounds, snapping pictures along the way simply because she can. She's just going to stop in front of you and get adjusted to snap one real quick.]

[Lilo yawns, a big yawn. But it stops short.]

...huh, wha? 

[This isn't where she went to bed. This isn't her room. Where's Scrump? Where's the smell of her sister's coffee, the picture she keeps under her pillow? Out of the bed she goes, still in her mint-colored sleeping gown.]

...Where am I? 

This isn't my house!

[A groan.] 

This doesn't look too much like an alien spaceship... I don't think that they took me from earth...

Then what's going on here?!

About the Archive

"Paradisa Lost" is the archive of what the journals contained between December 1st, 2006 and January 10th, 2012. On that final day, Paradisa issued new journals, so that the residents could fill them up again. While there are still residents around who have old journals, we have chosen to preserve the old journals here for muns' reference and history.

"Lost" in the title refers to both the old journals that the residents once kept, and also to our move to Dreamwidth from the original Livejournal community, where Paradisa started. It is a fresh start for muns, as well as for the characters.
