So with Logan and Professor Xavier going home there's kind of been no one to run training which is why there hasn't been any. I don't know how many people we still have (so this is kind of a check in if you're still interested) but we need someone to run it.

Nudge mentioned that I should - I guess I know the programs and I've been training with Logan for a while but if anyone wants to actually do it (and knows what they're doing) feel free. Put your name in and we could vote?

Hi, my name's Kitty. I made a message like this a while ago and with people coming and going I guess making another wouldn't hurt.

Where I'm from I'm known as a mutant - someone with an ability. I can phase, which basically means I can become intangible and pass through anything. There's a group here that's been training - any ability ready for anything. It doesn't matter if you've been trained or not before it's more to do with working as a team (and learning your ability if you need to) - you might be able to use it alone but maybe not with others.

We're currently down a leader but we're working on that, but the group's open (and always will be) if anyone wants to join and train.

Okay, baton's are good. I don't think I know anyone that can use a baton.

I know, I know. Most people use discs. Batons are a seriously underrated form of combat.

Actually I don't know anyone that uses a disc.

Well, most people where I'm from. Discs in my world are a little like the journals in this one - they're with you all the time, they record what you do, and they identify you if you need to do something in particular. Except they can also turn into weapons if you activate them.

That sounds pretty cool. And a lot more useful than these journals.

The communication's nice, I'll give it that. It should be a weapon, though.

There's enough weapons here, and people as weapons.

It's less convenient than having it all in one, though. You wouldn't have to worry about anyone getting caught unarmed.

Only reason we needed to back home was against Gridbugs - and for sport, of course.

Until there was trouble, but by that time weall had practice.

Nasty little glitches. They go after energy supplies--can derezz a program in a few minutes if you're not careful.

Oh, everyone here relies on energy more than you think. You just don't realize it.

Look at where the electrical wires in the wall go--nowhere. Where do you suppose the power comes from, then? And what do you think powers all the wishing in this castle? You can say "magic", sure, but that's just another word for energy.

Magic isn’t the worst explanation, but I guess it is still energy; even with magic the things have to come from somewhere.
