I think Katherine's in the same position the rest of us are. Kind of hard to have a master plan when she just got here. All talking to her's going to do is help her get one. Help her figure out where to dig her claws in. Chances are, she doesn't even realize who all is here yet. [ and so help him you dumbass if you jeopardize lana's safety he will rip out your heart. literally. ]

She can read. We didn't arrive privately. [ But, he makes a good point. Talking to Katherine might only exacerbate her craziness. But, sitting by seems so...ineffective. And he has been ineffective for weeks. ] What are we going to do about her, then? Wait for her to make her first move?

And take advantage when she screws up.
