[ And Elena will appear at his door a few minutes after that, giving it a knock before pushing the door open slightly. ] Stefan?

[ He's laying on his side, reading a collection of Robert Frost paintings. He's got a black v-neck and sweat pants on. Bask in his luxury, Elena. Also, he doesn't look up. ] Nope, think you have the wrong room.

[ Big sigh. ] Shame. I carried this really heavy basket all the way over here for nothing. [ She takes this as an invitation to push the door open more and waves the basket a little. ] My poor, dainty little hands shall never be the same.

Elena,nothing about you is dainty. [ Stefan sits up and gives her room on the bed. He closes his journal. ] I'm talking to Angel.

[ Elena gives him a smile and approaches, sitting down next to him and offering him the basket. ] Is it going alright? [ She looks to his closed journal. Was it over? ]

[ He takes a muffin, setting it aside but he'll eat it. Maybe. ] It just started. [ He looks down at the journal. ] If it's closed people can't hear your conversations.

[ Eat it, Stefan. Eat it. In the meantime, Elena chooses her own muffin and just picks at it. ] I remember you telling me that. If I close the journal, it won't be broadcasted on the network. [ Elena smiles proudly at that. She's learning! ]

[ She looks around his room ] Yep, it's true. I do like your room. What are you reading?

Yes. So, be careful. And if you ever want to do anything private [ long pause ] close the journal.

[ He shows the front. A collection of Robert Frost's poems ]

And it seems like with good books, too. I'll have to search my room for some. I'm going to be jealous if it favours you over me. [ She grins ]

Have you been doing much before I showed up with muffins?

You could just wish them to you and cheat. How can I know you're not cheating?

...[ he holds the book up. ]

[ Elena shrugs ] My nose will grow long? [ She laughs ] I promise I won't cheat. And you can be there if I have to wish up some books.

I see you're still the wild child you were back at home.

Sorry, I forgot. You get your party on at five.

There's not much to do around this castle. I've just been wandering around. I've gotten lost about twice and that's how I found the kitchen. [ She may grin proudly there. ]

Did you make anything? [ He one day wants to make her dinner, now. ]

[ Elena will smile sheepishly ] I was kind of scared to? Plus, it was so huge and I really couldn't find my way around. And whenever I kept saying something, like apple, it would appear! [ She may have been saying 'I really want an apple' in a range of different ways, but it's the castle's fault. ] But I think I will, the next time I'm down there.

You could cook quietly. [ Obvious idea? Sure. But no less true! ] You should. Or, I could. Make you something.

[ Elena laughs ] Yeah, maybe I could do that.

You want to make me something?

...You don't like my cooking all of a sudden?

What! No! I love your cooking!
