[It's that time again. People are gathering in the Peace Patrol headquarters, around the tables and shiny computers and of course the well-stocked coffee machine. Come on in, take a seat - there's a lot to discuss this month.]
((ooc: Tag in as the categories go up! Also, I am going to be slow at tagging while I fight this cold, but I will get to everything, I promise!))

... napping.
after all, he was here from last night until far, far too early this morning, working on the containment unit (http://paradisa.livejournal.com/13417661.html?thread=811684285#t811684285).]

Riful
The first and most immediate threat I'd like to discuss is, of course, Riful. We're beyond the point where we can ignore her just because she's powerful enough to defend her own territory: she and her allies are a threat not just to the town, but also to the residents, and especially now that she seems to have a way of killing anyone permanently.
We need a way to stop her, and more than likely to contain her. I personally am not above killing her permanently if we can manage it, although I know there are those here who would have objections to that.
She also has allies who are equally dangerous. We need to know with certainty who they are and what - if anything - can be done to separate them from each other.
And if she attacks before we have a chance to target her directly, we need to be able to defend the castle and the town. We've previously drawn out evacuation routes, but I don't want abandoning the castle to be our first resort.

They may have a source of information inside the castle. It's entirely possible that this is from reading the journals, and I'd like to take this chance to remind you all to filter anything that might possibly become sensitive away from them, but we need to consider the idea that there might be a spy among us, as well. Lois has suggested spreading some misinformation to see if they pick up on it.
Either way, they haven't shown any hesitation in attacking us with intent to kill in the past - and in the Dead Zone, no less - and the recent vandalism clearly shows their disrespect toward the inhabitants of the castle. Maybe they believe themselves justified, for whatever reason, but we should certainly require some proof of change in their attitudes if we do make plans to meet with them.

I'm all for trying to contact them, I'd just like to impress upon anyone not to trust them entirely. We still don't know the full extent of what they're capable of.

Leroy
I'll freely admit, I have no experience with criminal justice. Fair trials aren't something that happen much in my world, so I'll defer to those who might know more about the subject: what do you think we should do with him now that we have him?
