navy (6/20) day two - AFTERNOON to EVENING

[ Welcome to Purgatorio. It's the jewel of the ocean, the envy of the world, an island that's as pristine and polished as the Navy itself. It's where the Navy keeps it headquarters, after all, and that's exactly where you're heading. ]

[ Your wise and venerable leader, the Fleet Admiral, has called all of you Admirals together for a meeting. New assignments, updates, and the current going-ons will all be addressed. It's kind of a big deal. When it's time, get your asses to the meeting. But until then, take some time to chill out with your Navy bros. ]

In the mean time, [takes a gulp of her coffee] can you pass me that bottle of vodka?

'Course! [He reaches over to grab dat bottle!] Don't drink too much, you know how Stark gets if we're drunk on the job.

[snorts] Save that bit of advice for Courage.

[aaaand she fills her mug back up the top with the vodka.] And I'll actually need it. I swear, it's usually more like a circus than a meeting of admirals.

That dog does get a little too into it...

[He takes the bottle back and sets it down when she's done, then shrugs.] We get the job done. That's what matters to Stark, hell with the higher-ups whinin' about it.

[takes a small sip of her drink]

I'm not about to argue that point. [dryly] That's the only reason why some of them are almost tolerable half the time.

[Small? Pfeh, drink like a man! Like Sanji, gulping half his down at once!]

Ahh~. You really think half the crew's better off drunk, Natsuki-chan?

[she's saving it for later. Geez! :|]

It gives me an excuse to hit them over the head and say it was for their own good.

[okok]

...Ah, good thinking! Makes me glad I only drink when I'm off duty, too. [so he just hits on her sober.]

For you, I don't need an excuse. [smirk]

My noggin can take it, don't worry any~. [all in stride!]

I guess all those callouses have to be good for something.

They protect your hand where you need it most! I just wish my head could be softer, and spare it further...

Are you and Tamaki starting to exchange lines?

I can only take so much romantic bullcrap.

He does. Again and again.

Just let him know you appreciate it now and then!

I'm trying to discourage him, not the other way around.

He'll just keep trying harder until he finds what works. He's a good fighter like that.

[sigh. She doesn't like it, but she can't deny it.

grumbles] I can't complain about the results he gets.

[this is a thing sanji understands ~so well~]

Just smile and laugh, say thank you! He'll love it.
