[ courtyard filter ]

[ in spite of paradisa returning to normal (or as normal as it was going to get), uru hadn't taken a chance leaving the castle perimeter since the vampires attacked. instead, she didn't want to scare anyone and stuck close to the castle, keeping busy there instead. she actually found herself more focused than when she was living in the city. kara's departure had been upsetting but reminded her how she wanted to learn to knit as well as the super heroine, and so she had been doing that outside in the courtyard. not that... she had gotten very far with what she had been trying to put together. she still had that horrifying excuse for a scarf she had tried to sew for damian last christmas.

she really needed to improve. :(

but she kept hearing something in the tree above her and put down all her things, glancing up at it. she didn't see anything in there. it sounded a lot like... after a minute, she had hopped up onto the lowest branch and began to pull herself up into the tree. ]

I don't know, but they were really interesting. Rabbits with feet like birds and lighter than any animal I've ever held. [Would have liked to observe them a little longer...]

Literally as light as a feather. I had one on my shoulder and I could only feel it there because it was warm. And yeah, I did.

Maybe they're in the forest now... some of those little soot creatures are still around. I found one in my room the other week.

it's a nest! and she slowly peers closer, gasping quietly when she sees the little fellas inside. ]

I wonder where the mother is... [ she tilts her head to look back. wow, they're kind of noisy and weird sounding... but she supposes because they're babies they're going to sound like that. ] You rarely see animals here.

She's probably out getting food. But yeah, usually the only animals are the people turned into animals or really weird ones...
