The name Paradisa is Greek in origin. It means garden or orchard. It’s fitting, ending up here. Oh, and Katherine, if this is your elaborate way of influencing my mind, you’re going to be sorely disappointed. Elena and I may not be together but I will never love you again. You will never understand mine or anybody’s idea of paradise. You only serve yourself and if Damon didn’t entomb you I will find you and do it myself.

This isn’t funny, Katherine!

If in fact, this is not a fabrication of my mind and I just yelled everything to complete strangers as it says I would’ve, I apologize. And if I am talking to myself…

No, not really. The only way to leave is to be sent back from where you came and the only being capable of preforming such a feat is the same being who is keeping us prisoner.

Perhaps, we truly do not know. Many believe the castle is responsible for holding us here, that it is the one with the power, but in truth there no real way for us to know.

I have been in this place long enough to know no matter how hard I try I will not leave of my own free will. Here I am without fear for simply existing, so yes I do just live but only a little. Paradisa is, after all, fraught with danger as it is with wonder.
