[In the hall just outside room 1112, there are two stems of pink bellflowers in a rather plain glass vase. There is a card attached, with a short message in a flowing and somewhat old-looking script.]

Ino.
Your assistance in our assault on Arthas was to our benefit.
I realize this may be considered overdue, but I assure you I am being genuine in my thanks.
I hope I may continue to consider you an ally in future endeavors.
- Alleria

[Leroy.]
[She'll pause after penning the filter, taking a moment to reflect on the last time she'd spoken to this person.

Ah. It really had been quite awhile, hadn't it? For a brief moment, she considers dismissing the idea altogether. But then again, she was a Windrunner, and she stayed true to her word above all else.

Dictated!]
Leroy. I believe I still owe you a meal.
[/filter]

[These deeds done, Alleria can be found out on the grounds, bow slung across her back, sword at her hip. She needed a small break from hovering over Vereesa. The time spent with her sisters at Mineas Well had been overdue and greatly appreciated, but she was wary -- how much had changed while she was absent? What dangers lurked here that weren't there before?

Apart from the shiny new big evil dragon, of course.]

[And see? It saves them time and effort!

And into her hands her arrows shall go. His magic won't cause her arrows to eat her or something. :>

Golems for my world are communication devices, and are rather small to make traveling easier.

[Most people say "him," yes.] His name is Allen — you'll meet him in due time.

[Timcanpy sees you looking at him, Alleria. Guess who's going to get closer to you now?]

My Idiot Apprentice is quite the social young man. And unrelated to him, lift your hand up for a moment.

[identity profile] echivoc.livejournal.com 2011-05-16 06:08 pm (UTC)(link)
[And now Timcanpy is going to perch on your hand and watch for your reaction. DOESN'T HE LOOK CUTE???]

[identity profile] echivoc.livejournal.com 2011-05-17 06:43 am (UTC)(link)
For me, it is communication, and tracking as well.

[Just for you, Timcanpy's mouth will magically appear out of nowhere and blow another balloon up.]

[identity profile] echivoc.livejournal.com 2011-05-18 07:22 am (UTC)(link)
[Cross cannot help but laugh at her reaction, while Timcanpy lets the balloon float away and his mouth is gone once more, still chillin' on Alleria's hand. Back to looking cute and unsuspecting! And yes, ty for not throwing him into a tree — that would not good at all. ;;]

Technology, Alleria.

We do, but they tend to get in the way. Plus they are useless on the battlefield for aid, outside of relaying warnings and helping with injuries.

[and then as an afterthought:]

Well, as long as they haven't turned into dust yet.

The enemies we fight — Akuma — shoot off poisonous bullets that infect you with a virus. You know you were hit if you start seeing dark-colored stars to appear on you. The virus is so quick that, between thirty seconds and a minute, the infected person cracks and becomes a star-speckled dust pile.

Indeed. Only Exorcists with Parasitic Innocence are safe, such as my Idiot Apprentice.

[identity profile] echivoc.livejournal.com 2011-05-19 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
[a smirk] It has its positives and negatives.

No, I have an equipment-type Innocence. [and out comes Judgment]

[identity profile] echivoc.livejournal.com 2011-05-20 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
Parasitic-type Innocence is attached to their user in some way physically.

[identity profile] echivoc.livejournal.com 2011-05-20 04:14 am (UTC)(link)
Parasitic-types are born with it. Equipment-types just come whenever the time is right. Regardless, no one can choose to be an Exorcist voluntarily — the Innocence chooses its users.

Same concept. Luckily, the one person who can create Akuma is not present right now, so you will not need to be worrying about virus-carrying bullets anytime soon.
