[In the hall just outside room 1112, there are two stems of pink bellflowers in a rather plain glass vase. There is a card attached, with a short message in a flowing and somewhat old-looking script.]
[Leroy.]
[She'll pause after penning the filter, taking a moment to reflect on the last time she'd spoken to this person.
Ah. It really had been quite awhile, hadn't it? For a brief moment, she considers dismissing the idea altogether. But then again, she was a Windrunner, and she stayed true to her word above all else.
Dictated!] Leroy. I believe I still owe you a meal.

[These deeds done, Alleria can be found out on the grounds, bow slung across her back, sword at her hip. She needed a small break from hovering over Vereesa. The time spent with her sisters at Mineas Well had been overdue and greatly appreciated, but she was wary -- how much had changed while she was absent? What dangers lurked here that weren't there before?
Apart from the shiny new big evil dragon, of course.]

Ino.
Your assistance in our assault on Arthas was to our benefit.
I realize this may be considered overdue, but I assure you I am being genuine in my thanks.
I hope I may continue to consider you an ally in future endeavors.

She'll cautiously hold her hand out for her arrows, maybe a little wary that they've been touched by magic.]
I've never seen a golem like that. They tend to be bigger.
[As Timcanpy nears her, she eyes it (him?!) a little suspiciously as well.] I don't think I've met this "apprentice" of yours.

And into her hands her arrows shall go. His magic won't cause her arrows to eat her or something. :>]
Golems for my world are communication devices, and are rather small to make traveling easier.
[Most people say "him," yes.] His name is Allen — you'll meet him in due time.

Mm. On Azeroth, they are guardians, though not altogether common. [She keeps looking at Timcanpy, the suspicion beginning to give way to curiosity. The same word for entirely different things, perhaps.]
Ah. You seem very confident of that.

My Idiot Apprentice is quite the social young man. And unrelated to him, lift your hand up for a moment.

Is ... what is the nature of a golem, Cross? [She's just ... staring at Timcanpy, eyebrows curling slightly at the ends.]

[Just for you, Timcanpy's mouth will magically appear out of nowhere and blow another balloon up.]

Oh gosh, oh dear, how does she deal with this? Alleria moves her head backwards slightly, mildly recoiling, but at least she isn't throwing the thing into a tree?]
Ah ... but what is its nature? Is it elemental? Magic? Technology?
no subject
Technology, Alleria.

[She relaxes a little at that, tilting her head to get a better look at the golem. Now that she knows it's not magic, she is less distrustful.]
Such things are beyond my understanding, but creatures such as these are not uncommon in the hands of gnomes. You say it's used for communication and tracking? Do you not have scouts where you come from?

[and then as an afterthought:]
Well, as long as they haven't turned into dust yet.
no subject
Ah. Dust?

You haven't this sort of power?
no subject
No, I have an equipment-type Innocence. [and out comes Judgment]

Ah. What is the difference?

If living here for as long as I have has taught me anything, it's that we can't rely on anything being for certain.
