050; time travel

You know. I don't like time travel.


Or I think I don't like it. I haven't really experianced real time travel, but I was in my future once, and it wasn't fun. I expect time travel to be something like that.

And it's absurd thinking time is linear. Flowing only one way and all the moments that already happened totally obliterated. Absolutely absurd.

Ah, right then. Books. I love a good book now and again, though I don't usually have to catch them first.

Books are good and all, but I don't keep any in me tower anymore, save for emergencies. I used to have a whole collection, then one day, one of the books got depressed and started losing it's pages - and what do you know, the rest of them got depressed and I was left with pages everywhere and a bunch of sad looking books.

That is what happens from sad neglect. You can't just leave books lying around all willy-nilly! You've got to read them and care for them and try not to spill strange beverages on them.

I paid attention to them! It was just one very depressed book! It refused to cheer up! I even tried to let it fly around outside and it just... it didn't do it! It was the saddest book I'd ever seen! It even made me depressed, just looking at it.

And I didn't leave them lying about. They were very well taken care of. I take care of the things I keep, after all. I may argue with them, but I'm always entirely in the right.
