Oh no...

No, no, no!

[There's a very loud whirring sound that sounds a bit... muffled somehow. Possibly many whirring sounds. It's safe to assume that whatever they are, they are not a good sign.]

Please turn off, please! Uhhh...

[Frantic clicks and snaps and maybe a little pounding of a fist against something large and metal can be heard, but the whirring continues with a few added wet slosh sounds until finally, every sound comes to a halt.]

Bloody machines. Maybe you really are evil.

[Did you plan to do laundry tonight? That's going to be a problem. Merlin has claimed all three washing machines and effectively overloaded them. Soap bubbles have seeped out, flooding the entirety of the laundry room, and has seeped out into the hallway a bit.

You know you want to point and laugh.]

I guess so...

[Oh Merlin you poor thing sdfjkljdsf. Allen soon enough makes it to the washer and...pushes it away from the wall with ease, unplugging the cord!]

That's one down!

[He'll glance back at him]

Um...sure! If you'd like to do that.

[identity profile] save-the-souls.livejournal.com 2011-01-08 10:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Don't worry about it, it's no trouble.

[And as he's moving that second washer out of the way, he notices what Merlin is doing. Hmmm...]

So you really don't use magic, huh?

[identity profile] save-the-souls.livejournal.com 2011-01-09 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
No, I mean...did anyone tell you about the legends yet?

[identity profile] save-the-souls.livejournal.com 2011-01-09 07:23 am (UTC)(link)
About King Arthur and the people of Camelot.

It's been well over a thousand year, but people still know the stories about it. I've heard them since I was a child.

[identity profile] save-the-souls.livejournal.com 2011-01-09 07:34 am (UTC)(link)
[a soft amused snort] He's heard them, but he considers them all to be rubbish. Puts him in a bad mood just mentioning them. Which after a thousand years, it's no surprise they've been distorted so much.

But in the legends, it says that Merlin is the most powerful sorcerer to ever have lived. So...don't be surprised if people start asking about magic.

[Allen meanwhile is working unplugging the other washer! He'll humor you boy]

Mm, I suppose so!

...Then again, you were also extremely old in them, so that probably would be a disadvantage.

[identity profile] save-the-souls.livejournal.com 2011-01-09 08:34 am (UTC)(link)
[A small laugh]

Not at all. You even look younger than me, don't worry. [ :>>> ]

[identity profile] save-the-souls.livejournal.com 2011-01-09 08:45 am (UTC)(link)
[And there's some movement as the last washer is getting shoved away]

I'm twenty.

[I JUST LOOK YOUNG OKAY]

[identity profile] save-the-souls.livejournal.com 2011-01-09 09:01 am (UTC)(link)
Seriously! I just turned twenty last month!

[identity profile] save-the-souls.livejournal.com 2011-01-11 08:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Eh?!

It's because you don't physically age in Paradisa! That's all!

...But I was nearly sixteen back home too!!

[identity profile] save-the-souls.livejournal.com 2011-01-11 08:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Magic, probably. What would be the point of me returning home the same moment I left if I suddenly looked like I was twenty years old? People would find that odder than me going missing for years.

But it is the truth! I've kept very close watch on it! [since...I potentially only have a few days to live back home sfjkldsf SO NOT AGING IS GOOD]
