[The sound of beating wings immediately make it clear that oh boy, it's another victim of that bird thing that's been going around. Jason really isn't too pleased about waking up with feathers and it's audible. There's a lot of chirping going on that, really, can only be described as angry.

At some point it sounds like something gets knocked over as there is a loud crash and the fluttering and chirping stop for a moment.

Then the noises pick right back up again. For those not paying attention to the journals, all of this racket can be heard on the thirteenth floor as well.]

[Scanning the book spines, and since she has the entire library catalogue pretty much memorized it'll only take her a minute or two to find the correct book. She'll grab it and then start for the door]

[Down to the kitchen they go! As the head down there Yuki will be skimming through the book and getting an idea of what kind of bird food would be edible.]

Beetles, ants, spiders, grasshoppers... various types of arthropods.

[Which means she'll keep skimming the book for any other foods mentioned, but it's only saying different types of bugs. So she's frowning very, very slightly.]

[Thank goodness. He'd really like to tell her that something like potato chips would be more than fine, but alas. He figures he can try showing her when they get to the kitchen.]

[She's just going off of Tesla's pigeon feed recipe (http://community.livejournal.com/parrot_lovers/4443593.html) that she read in one of his biographies. It's the only bird feed recipe she knows :(

Anyways! Eventually it'll all get cooked and chopped up and put into a bowl. It looks like it might be appetizing? If you're into vegetables and such, at least.]

[Right then. He hops closer and, after considering it for a moment, starts eating. Though he mostly goes for the bits that he doesn't find too bad, like the potatoes and carrots.]
