[The sound of beating wings immediately make it clear that oh boy, it's another victim of that bird thing that's been going around. Jason really isn't too pleased about waking up with feathers and it's audible. There's a lot of chirping going on that, really, can only be described as angry.

At some point it sounds like something gets knocked over as there is a loud crash and the fluttering and chirping stop for a moment.

Then the noises pick right back up again. For those not paying attention to the journals, all of this racket can be heard on the thirteenth floor as well.]

[SMART GOING. Because having a hawk land at your window and speak in your head when you're a tiny bird isn't cause for alarm at all or anything.

He flies to the desk closest to the window to land there and puff himself up, trying so very hard to look tough. WHAT?]

[Yeah, he's not exactly seeing any change of expression there. YOU STILL LOOK INTIMIDATING.

But he calms down a little, more at hearing Carrie's name than anything. The girl Robin. He chirps once for yes.]

Bruce hears it over his journal and, after knowing what happened to Carrie, decides to check in on the other Robins. Just in case. Which means a short while after Jason wakes up, Bruce is knocking on his door. ]

[He'll be waiting, a little inconspicuous ball of black, red and white feathers on the bed.

Lucky thing he didn't lock his door.]

[The noises abruptly stop at the sound of Bruce's voice as Jason has a bit of an 'oh shit' moment. Because.... there's just something embarrassing about being turned into a tiny harmless bird.

There's a pause, in which Jason flies on top of his closet and perches there, before he gives a tweet in reply. The door is unlocked.]

[Jason hops closer to the window so when he nods, it's more visible. Only he's so small and it feels more like he did a weird sort of bounce so he tweets for good measure.]

[ Aaaand he is really not all that surprised that yet another Robin is now an actual robin. He opens the door with a somewhat amused expression and looks around until he spots Jason.

He's so tiny alskdjfs. ]

If things keep going like this, we'll have an entire flock of birds and bats within the week.

[First she'll be getting his name off his nameplate, then opening the door a tiny bit and peering in before entering, but when she does she's heading right over to the bed and staring down at him.]

[Jason sways a bit on his perch, but otherwise doesn't move away from it.

He chirps dejectedly, frustrated with the fact he's unable to actually ask who else got turned into a bird. Or bat, apparently.]

Carrie got turned into a robin as well, though she's a fledgling instead of a fully grown bird.

[ Bruce moves a little closer to the closet in case Jason falls and ends up not being able to fly the same way Carrie couldn't fly at first. ]

I wouldn't be surprised if the trend continued.

[He flaps his wings once in greeting before.... staring right back. There's not much else he can do.]

[It's a mild comfort to know he's not the only one, but he's still a fucking bird.

He strongly contemplates just staying up here until the crazy shit passes. Problem is, he's terrible at sitting still and Bruce's shoulder sort of looks mighty inviting. Better to stick with him than sit up here sulking anyway.

So after a small internal debate, he swoops down to land gracefully on Bruce's shoulder. Obviously he got the hang of flying quite quickly. Though that hadn't gone without errors, considering the lamp he knocked over.]

[And she doesn't have a whole lot (read: any) experience with birds, so she'll just continue staring at him for another minute or two, before deciding to say something.]

[ How quickly he's gotten used to being a perch is a little startling, when he thinks about it, but it means Bruce doesn't object to a Jasonbird sitting on his shoulder.

He just gives Jason a sideways glance before going to pick up the knocked over lamp, talking as he does so. ]

Outside of the temporary loss, how are you adjusting? One chirp for well, two for in the middle, three for poorly.
