一 - Surprise Attack
Well, this is new.
[ And that's saying something, coming from Ragnarok. Though he's lived for quite a long while, suddenly finding himself in what he can sense definitely is not his world is something he can say has never happened before. ]
[ On top of that, he's in his human form. Which didn't make sense to him. The last time this happened was because his partner managed to get shanked and kidnapped by a little girl while he was left to burn with a whore house. All this seems to be is a strange hotel in a different world with— ]
Insane turkeys? I've had worse welcomes. But I was hoping for more of a break before you were kidnapped again, Leroy.
[ Ragnarok's words sound far away, as though said to himself. His nearby, so-far-unnoticed-by-him journal picks up on the possible sounds of a turkey or two being kicked as well. Animal cruelty? Maybe. Annoying? Very. Life-threatening? No. ]
[ There are sounds of a decidedly more lethal nature than kicking. ]
[ OOC: Open through journals or in-person at the lobby. Also backdated to sometime earlier in the day. ]

dayum she looks fine in that bikini though. UNF. ]

[ And he sees you checking her out, Leroy. Have you no shame? ]
How did you ever manage to get her attention?

[ But all razzing aside, it is a serious situation with Leroy's loss. ]
...So you honestly don't remember anything about Lena?
no subject
...Nothing, no. I barely remember that there was someone who asked me to help find their sister.
no subject
[ He isn't going to do too much on purpose to embarrass Leroy in front of his not!girlfriend. At least not until he knows exactly what she knows. ]
But perhaps it's for the best. You didn't seem to be on the best terms with that woman. And there was the fact that she did use us for her own gains.
no subject
...But I remember Mana and Lily, so don't worry about that. It's just this "Lena" bitch.

[ He understands the bitterness, even if it started to disappear toward the end of that mission. But yes, totally unsurprising to be used by her. ]
I'll admit I don't know exactly what happened between you and her before we met. You did tell me that you made a promise to yourself that the next time you saw her, you would kill her with your own hands. But you didn't, when she arrived in our hotel.

Perhaps you'll think twice about what kinds of vows you make in the future. Instead of killing her, you ended up saving her life a couple of times. I'm curious as to what would happen if you vowed to save someone's life.
no subject
Very funny. Why the hell would I do all that for some assassin?
no subject
Because Mana's just a little kid. Leaving her to the fate of a whorehouse isn't something either of us could let happen.
And you were also invited to visit another one owned by those thought to have kidnapped her. You were already going there, so seeing about that couldn't hurt at all. [ But we both know how that ended up going. ]
no subject
Hnn...
no subject
It did turn out to be something of a cover for her own ends... And we did end up rescuing Mana for our own reasons in exchange for saving Herman. Though it was all for nothing, a little kid was saved. At least Mana won't live the life Ailey had.
no subject
Yeah... I guess that was good enough. Working for free it still a pain.
no subject
Yeah. All that hard work, and nothing really to show for it. That woman does owe you a favor, but it won't do a lot of good here.
And I take it you're not a mercenary here, but that you have an actual job?

And by powers, I'll assume that to mean as something entirely different than the Dark Ones, but closer to what Ino has. [ has definitely never seen a human walk on a ceiling. ]

[ But that does get his attention. People that powerful around, especially when it took so much out of him to even wound Ashgan... ]
I hope you haven't been picking fights with them often. [ Does not like the thought of Leroy losing control without him around to help stop it. ]

That's good. I was worried for a moment that you were rushing into fights. Or provoking them.
no subject
I don't provoke fights!
