[Coraline's Friends]
Um...hi. Some of you might have notices Coraline's not herself lately. I figured I'd better try to explain it to you...even if it sounds pretty much the craziest thing ever.

I...really don't want to get into the creeptastic world me and her come from, because that's just a big giant mess. But there's a parallel world involved, which is used to snare kids into living there. The parallel world has Others, they're kinda like...clones of people the kid knows, except their personality has been changed to make them seem better than the original. It's all part of the big trap to get the kid to stay in the parallel world.

There shouldn't be an Other Coraline. I mean, she was the kid who was being snared back home, but I guess the castle thought it'd be fun to turn the tables or something. Anyway, I think she's supposed to be for me, which trust me is really creepy.

But uh...what this message was for was not to...you know, blame her or anything for this. She's not the real Coraline, or at least, the castle's made her that way. She's just a copy, bait. I'm seriously hoping she won't remember any of this when she gets back to normal. Just...take it easy on her, okay? She's been through enough.

I...guess you are. I mean. Not the original. But you're still...kinda real.

I know... but we can still think and act and talk, can't we? We're our own person.

Would you rather me not be real like the Other You? I could be made of sand, too.

Is it creeping you out a little too much? The Other Wybie blew his hand away whenever Coraline wanted him to escape with her.

You're lucky you weren't the person being lured in... I wouldn't want to hurt you, if she was here.
