[Lost, as the castle has condemned him to be, Sora slipped from an unknown room to wander the halls. He wears his Paradisa High sweat jacket over a matching tee, which dangle off his frame like a tent. As he wanders he hugs the journal to his chest and rubs his eyes dazedly with his free hand. His voice is groggy and weak- after all, he had been ill before this growing-up business had reared its ugly head.]

...Is everything over now?

Okay. [Sora curls himself against the wall like a good boy, resting his temple on his knees.]

[will come walkin' up a few minutes later... and spotting him, crouches down in front of him with a little smile]

Sora?

[A weak little smile, eyes tired as he crossed himself.]

How are you doing...? [offers him a little reassuring smile, though he's a bit worried by how tired he looks ;(]

M'fine. I'm just tired. I was hiding a lot those last few days. It was scary.

I'm glad you did. It was scary, huh...?

[headpats... then he shrugs out of his coat, wrapping it around babby Sora's shoulders. you so tiny and... adorable...]

I'm happy it's all over now.

[Sora nestles into the coat, near disappearing in the volume. He pulls it close around him like a blanket, and rests against the wall, cheek mushed against the plaster.]

It was like the Demons. This castle... It gives us nice things and then tries to kill us.

[he moves to sit against the wall beside him, knees pulled half-way to his chest. he slings an arm carefully around Sora's shoulders, giving him a little comforting squeeze]

No matter how many times it tests us, we won't break. We have strong friends to rely on, right...?

Next time something happens, I'll make sure to find you, Sora. Things don't seem so scary if we stick together...

[Sora tucks his face against him instead, leaning his little body against his side.]

What if we're already broken?

[Squirmings to get comfortable. His feet are bare and sit atop one of his boots, so they won't be trod on.]

[fingers smooth over dark hair soothingly. poor boy...]

[Sora coos, cozy. It's a gentle sound, like the hush of a dove.]

So I can still break?

[he taps a finger against his chin thoughtfully]

But! I meant it when I said I wouldn't let that happen.

[Sora looks up at him with only his eyes a moment.]

Really? But what if you were busy like last time?
