[Lost, as the castle has condemned him to be, Sora slipped from an unknown room to wander the halls. He wears his Paradisa High sweat jacket over a matching tee, which dangle off his frame like a tent. As he wanders he hugs the journal to his chest and rubs his eyes dazedly with his free hand. His voice is groggy and weak- after all, he had been ill before this growing-up business had reared its ugly head.]

...Is everything over now?

[First a shy little curl of the lips that breaks into a warm, happy smile.]

Abel looks genuinely happy at that smile...]

Now. How about we go somewhere warm and comfy? You look pretty sleepy, and I don't think dozing in the hallway is conducive to a good night's rest...

Alright. [He shifts to stand and stumbles a little, skittering on the smooth marble.] Wah.

[flskjdf... he starts pulling himself to his feet, and juts a hand out to gently catch Sora by the shoulder and steady him]

A-ah-- are you okay?

I'm fine. Just dizzy. I think I haven't eaten in a while. Jilly said that makes people sick?

...When was the last time you had something to eat? [oh, Lord. can't he just adopt you? he wants to. he wants to adopt you and spoil you forever.

he offers him his hand... but something tells Abel he's going to end up picking up his little lamb and carrying him the rest of the way, soon.]

Um. ...The Cafeteria? How long ago was that?

[Sora's determined to walk for a little while, anyway. After all, how else will he grow big and strong?]

[he starts slowly taking him down the hall.]

...Too long, that's how long! [s-sob.] Aren't you hungry?

My stomach hurts a bit? Is that hungry?

[b'aww.] ...Hm, maybe. It probably is, if you haven't eaten for so long.

We'll get some soup. That should be easy on your stomach, just in case, hm?

Okay. [And here comes the stumbling and staggering...] I'm sorry.

[he gives a playful growl before scooping him off his feet - for his teasing enthusiasm taking care not to jostle him too much as he hefts Sora up to carry him to his shoulder.]

Haha! You apologize too much, Prince Sora. Your valiant steed needs no apology.

What's a Prince? [Taking little fistfuls of hair- not tugging, just to hold and feel secure.] I'm not Prince, I'm Sora.

[flksjdf... laughs, and shakes his head a little] A Prince is... well. I'll show you! [clearly the best way to explain is with fairy tales. good thing he still has quite a few books leftover from Caterina's loss. :>]

[Oh, Fairy Tales. Jilly talked about those. He was distracted by the illustrations.]

[Abel takes him into his room and sets him down on the couch, replacing his coat 'round Sora's shoulders with a comfy blanket that probably smells faintly of jasmine perfume because of Lilith.]

There. Now sit tight, okay? I'll make soup and tea. And find that book... it's around here somewhere...

[Smells! Sora likes smells. He hides his nose against the soft, fuzzy coat and settles back into the plush sofa, already becoming sluggish and drowsy, but his hunger kept him awake.]

[he disappears into the next room before returning a moment later with a thick leather bound book.] Here,Sora. Something to look at while I'm cooking.

Thank you. [He takes the book gratefully and holds it in both arms to read. The book's almost as big as he is!]

[thumbs up! and then he's gonna vanish into the kitchen to do his magic soup-and-tea no jutsu. :>]

[And Sora will just read quietly like a good child would, careful not to stain or crinkle the pages!]

Abel comes out with a tray a little while later. it has vegetable soup, sum bread, and tea on it, oo lala...

he flops down on the couch with the tray on his lap]

Well! This should hit the spot, don't you think?

Waaah... [He cooed in awe, crawling across the sofa to him to look at the feast he is presented with.]

You made all this? You're amazing, Father!

E-eh? N-no... no, it's nothing amazing... [FFF Sora so cute. and easily impressed. he chuckles, taking the book and setting it aside so he can gently place the tray on Sora's lap]

Just let it cool a little, okay? It might still be hot.
