jukebox selection C06 - Big Dog Foreigner
[she's in her apartment in the city, flipping through the journal, catching up on the day's events]
Crossword puzzle... [flips and glances up] Time for walks, kids. [said to Cooper and Alice, she shakes the leash and continues walking toward the bedroom where she figures there's a GIANT Saint Bernard asleep on her bed, aka Sam on a loss, as usual]
Blood.. oh, crap... [skims the transcript and is concerned that she hadn't noticed this earlier, and she'll make sure to read up on what happened on the walk]
C'mon, Sam time for [stops in the door way with the journal and glances up] a wa--HOLYMOTHEROF--
[drops the journal and turns around, probably turning bright red]
Sam.
Clothing.
You... need some.
[Sam's off of his giant dog loss... Jo... is shocked.]

Wha -- ?
[there was a beat as he scratched at his head when he started to roll over, and when he actually looked down ... ]
Shit!
[he's grabbing a pillow and using it to cover anything important before giving a bit of a half-laugh]
Um. Did I happen to leave any pants around here?
no subject
I don't know. Maybe? It's been a month, Sam. I didn't even... I mean, I grabbed the dogs, grabbed you -- I didn't think to pack you an overnight bag.
no subject
Shit.
[grabbing at the top blanket and starting to wrap it around himself]
Uh. ... shit.
[yeah, he's feeling real helpful right now]

Nice vocabulary range.
[sighs, still not turning around]
Want me to see how close I have to be to the castle before I can ask it for stuff? I still have to take the dogs out.

[and a bit of an embarrassed face]
I'm sorry.
no subject
Yep.
Back... as soon as I have your pants. [laughs, because it's FUNNY]
no subject
I'll be here.

Ugh. [so she had to go into the castle, into Sam's room and laughed that some of the drawers are still glued shut, but she finds a pair of his jeans and a shirt, she's not going to go digging for anything else. He's gonna have to commando it.]
C'mon, back to the city. [and with a forty minute total wait for Sam, Jo's back at the apartment moving to her bedroom and tossing his clothing at him]

He catches the clothes when they were thrown at him, pulling on the pants first under the towel, before pulling on the t-shirt]
Thanks.

So... you were a dog.

[she'll just... put that out there]
Also, I think there was a dinosaur rollercoaster? I'm not really sure, I was sort of... not paying attention. Three dogs and working for Eliot - pretty much took all of my time.
[she'll just stand there, awkwardly - because everything they do eventually gets awkward]

I'm sorry about the whole ... no clothes thing.
