It's now the 20th of the month. Would the Dead Zone be my only chance of knowing what's out there? But if every type of ability, power, magic and technology stops working, where do I go on from there?

I don't understand. If these people knew who Oz was to me, why are they so calm about the fact he's been separated from me? [ or that i've been separated from him. no, they don't understand. :/ no one ever does. ]

Even in that building I couldn't use Raven or my own guns.

That entire building just disappeared? What the hell was that all about?

[ after a couple of minutes, gil sits himself down outside in the courtyard. it's kind of chilly but he really prefers this kind of weather. the heat just irritates him. he writes into the journal: ]

There have been a few expeditions in the past year in Paradisa, correct? How far did everyone travel and what exactly was discovered out there? You've only gone as far as the Dead Zone, I believe, unless I'm mistaken. Even if it's just references to older journal pages, I don't mind being pointed to them for reading.

So far we can't tell how big the Dead Zone actually is, or if it just covers the rest of the world, leaving the castle and town and this area in it's own little magic bubble. We've explored pretty far out, but not really far out enough.

I have a copy of the maps Raine's made...around here somewhere. [ having trouble finding things after trashing his room the last time, gdi ]

I wonder if we're just in small county or maybe a country. If there are other cities around this world. So far, it doesn't seem that way.

Raine... I've seen that name pop up quite often, actually. But I would like to see those maps.

We ran into a town the, uh, second time was it? I think. A town that everyone thought Paradisa 'turned into' a few years ago. So there's now a theory that all those places actually exist out there and we were just transported to them.

Everything's just...theories, though. Raine at least is good with cartography and the scientific stuff.
