008 Kitten Soldier

[His mind had been on the letter since the night before, hell... he'd even had trouble sleeping. It wasn't about them and he didn't quite understand that. Ordinaries were hard as hell to understand and he didn't much like that. When he does manage to get to sleep, he's woke up by someone or something crawling over him]

What the...

[Opening his eyes, he blinks a bit staring at the little boy with his own hazel eyes staring right at him]

Anyone out there lose a kid or something?

[Though it was the... no way, that was just not right...]

He's only quieted down because I'm holding him.

[He shakes his head, not the other person can see it]

We're genetically empowered. The ones with the canine DNA look more dog-like. We don't look like cats but we do growl and purr, seeing as our DNA isn't your normal house cat.

Didn't anyone ever rebel? I imagine if you're a group of super soldiers some of you might have thought you were too good to be a soldier.

WAY too many of us. Each one of us has a twin. I had one though he was a tad bit crazy. Maxie has one too... we all do.

Oh...right.

Yes this place likes to bring people from your past or it can do. Unfortunately it seems to think it's funny to bring people here that I never particularly liked back home.

Merlin, I'd even take a visit from Bullstrode at this point and this is someone with all the appeal of a stag beetle with leprosy.
