[Dictated]

...Hmm. Is that right? It seems just a little off.

Well, it's a good start. Fourth time's the charm.

[[ooc; he gets an A for affort :') open as well, since he's just...sitting in the main lobby trying to get this shit right]]

it needs a crown...

[waiting at a dive doesn't count. anyone can do that.

...chances were pretty good that even if Elliot did know who he was dealing with he still would never back down. that stubbornness of his ran deep, after all. creepy, perverted hobo be damned.]

So what's the catch, then. Is humanity the plague of the Earth and you're there to cleanse it?

[identity profile] imply.livejournal.com 2010-03-06 06:26 am (UTC)(link)
[it was the first thing he caught ♥.]

And the Exorcists are there to stop you for achieving such a goal. Each side believes they are in the right; the ones who are doing what's best for such a situation.

Does it have religious undertones? [because, honestly. Exorcists? Noah? sounded sort of biblical to him. not to mention the fact that Exorcists were generally members of the church who were sent out to drive out the demons from possessed individuals and such.

sometimes... he was a bit more perceptive about figuring things out about others and cluing into things than he was with truly figuring himself out. after all, despite the confident, unbending persona he often was seen with, there was still a boy who was still a bit afraid of himself and insecure underneath it all.]

[identity profile] imply.livejournal.com 2010-03-06 06:48 am (UTC)(link)
[of course, he's taking a seat.]

So it's more of a one-sided bias as far as the Noah are concerned and nothing to worry about. I suppose such a thing may not necessarily mean a thing.

[then again, the church sometimes had a habit of butting in where it wasn't needed. he was just glad that this wasn't an issue back home. the noble houses were pretty much left to deal with things, themselves, as it really should be. the fewer players the better, after all. especially in something of that nature.

but on the other hand, the church was also a place of salvation and ones who believed in the greater of all mankind and in the belief of a supreme being who was their creator and guide. given the nature of this very place, though, he couldn't see putting much stock into a thought such as that. what kind of benevolent being would so easily allow any of their 'children' to even be whisked away to a place like this, after all.

while there seemed to be those religious tones to it, for the moment it didn't seem to really be a holy war. yet. but it was still a bit early in the game to finalise such thoughts.]

There was a mention of "Innocence" as well. What is it and what does it do?

[identity profile] imply.livejournal.com 2010-03-06 07:03 am (UTC)(link)
[it didn't seem to ever bother him that most seemed to think of him as an arrogant loud-mouth who just goes around believing they're right and forcing their opinions on others without bothering to listen to what they had to say. he accepted such a thing as it was pretty much true. it's simply what he did. he was rash, but still held a certain insight and wisdom about him.]

So that's why it is used by the Exorcists to combat against you. [it made sense, really. how else was one supposed to combat a being who was pretty much superhuman otherwise?]

Why one extreme or the other?

[identity profile] imply.livejournal.com 2010-03-06 07:11 am (UTC)(link)
Then why don't you go ahead and make it my bedtime story? [in other words... 'bedtime? like hell i have one.']

[identity profile] imply.livejournal.com 2010-03-06 07:18 am (UTC)(link)
[fashiaesodrhewnaikhsere- GODDAMMIT BABS!]

I figured you'd appreciate it.

[identity profile] imply.livejournal.com 2010-03-06 07:22 am (UTC)(link)
I didn't think I'd have to ask.

[identity profile] imply.livejournal.com 2010-03-06 07:27 am (UTC)(link)
[WHY DO YOU KEEP GOING ON?!]

Can I have a kiss on the forehead, too?

[identity profile] imply.livejournal.com 2010-03-06 07:35 am (UTC)(link)
[...he's not going to doubt that one bit. it makes him feel a whole lot better about his dysfunctional family.]

Shall I just go ahead and call you 'dear'?

[identity profile] imply.livejournal.com 2010-03-06 07:40 am (UTC)(link)
[is that... a good or bad thing?]

'Dear' sounds more intimate.

see what~?

[identity profile] imply.livejournal.com 2010-03-06 07:49 am (UTC)(link)
[one day he'll learn. ONE DAY.]

Go right ahead. It's only fair and fitting.

/beams.
