[Well… he would qualify this week as one of the first generally okay weeks he’s had in awhile. Things started getting done for the prison situation, and while he has plenty of Thoughts on the subject, he figures his… contribution would go more or less ignored by most people. Or worse, would set the whole forward motion thing back a ways, and that’s the last thing they need. So instead, over the journal there’s the quick metallic sound of fingers drummed against the bars of his cell, the soft ring of a coin being flipped and then curiously: ]

[The door opens up on a court room. A very nice… neat… empty… Gotham court room, lacking a jury box, with statues of Lady Justice set into the far corners. There are stacks of books on both the prosecution and defense’s tables. The room mirrors itself, identical on both sides, except for two things: the books on the left are slightly more worn then on the right, and the right hand Lady Justice’s face is cracked. There’s a door set into either side of the room, and on the judge’s stand is a note, typed in courier, be back in a few, as well as a coin. The coin is heads up at the moment]

[There is no one here for now, but there is a heaviness to the air, a strange too-bright quality to the lights, like the whole world is holding its breath, waiting... Come. Poke around. Someone will be with you shortly...]

((ooc So Harvey is still in jail, but aspects of him will be around. Also Two-Face... will have his fun with visitors. I probably don't need to say this but... this'll be a fairly hostile environment. Half the time, anyway))

[Well... there is not a lot going on, here. Not for quite some time, anyway. Just the sounds of someone taking slow, rasping breaths and shifting around occasionally]

[Eventually though, he makes a disgusted sort of sound at the back of his throat, shifting to his feet and crossing the few steps to the door of his cell. There’s a rattling clang as he tests the bars… not for the first time, and then another softer sigh… This is definitely the worst thing that could've ever happened, ending up here again. And the only person who might help is someone he… doesn’t want to talk to!!! Goddammit… he's been putting it off long enough though. Might as well get it over with now… Hnn]

[Kay so… tormenting Harvey is getting… boring, actually. Which is not a conclusion he thought he would ever come to. It’s pretty depressing he must say, but they’ve never been alone for so long with nothing else to keep busy with. But he’s also keeping on his best behavior sooooo it’s time to ask the good guys~]

Quick, you’re alone in a room with nothing but yourself. What do you do to keep from losing your mind?

[You know what’s worse then waking up to someone singing badly right by your head? Waking up to an ENTIRE CASTLE doing it. Harvey’s been staring at the ceiling for awhile, wondering where the nice calm castle from just yesterday went, side-eyeing the journal as if he might will it closed. For some reason the idea of having to go over and do it himself sounds completely horrible right now. His whole body practically aches, like he hasn’t moved in weeks. Which is silly! Because he remembers the past few weeks and he definitely was not stuck in bed! Yes…]

[Eventually it gets to a point where he can’t bear to listen to Two-Face complain about having to listen to one more stupid song, and he rolls out of bed with a faint huff of stiff pain. He’s right on the verge of closing the stupid book and going to lay down again, but the castle has the best sense of timing ever, and suddenly Two-Face’s vague thoughts become something coherent and… well…]

[So with all the hero-types presumably busy doing their hero thing with Isis, Two-Face is feeling a little freer to wander the castle and the town. And that is exactly what he's doing tonight, sans ridiculous trench coat and fedora, looking through all the rooms he hadn't had a chance to before this, on the lookout for one thing in particular: a gun. Possibly two. Preferably more. He's pretty damn sick of being effectively defenseless...]

About the Archive

"Paradisa Lost" is the archive of what the journals contained between December 1st, 2006 and January 10th, 2012. On that final day, Paradisa issued new journals, so that the residents could fill them up again. While there are still residents around who have old journals, we have chosen to preserve the old journals here for muns' reference and history.

"Lost" in the title refers to both the old journals that the residents once kept, and also to our move to Dreamwidth from the original Livejournal community, where Paradisa started. It is a fresh start for muns, as well as for the characters.
