[Malygos is in rare form today -- instead of hulking up in his crystalline cavern, he's done himself a favor and curled up at the bottom of Alexstrasza's tree in the form of a small white ferret. If one watches him long enough, they will notice the blue runes and glyphs that appear every so often in his fur, betraying his identity.

The old Aspect doesn't appear very interested in hiding, though. In fact, despite the serenity offered by the tree, he appears to be in mourning.

There was no need to make this public -- after all, there were enough people grieving over the death of a loved one. Malygos knew better than to spend his time shedding tears for those he had lost, after losing so many. It was just another casualty. He had simply regretted allowing the human to get so close to him.]

[OOC: 1 small white ferret at the base of the tree -- open to all! Likely those who are there for the same reason Malygos is. Responses will be slow because LJ still isn't quite cooperating with me.]
[identity profile] spellweaving.livejournal.com
[As per usual, Malygos is perched on his mountaintop in the distance, perfectly visible from the castle. For once, it seems, he's not entirely alone. There are little bright blue specs hovering about him, tumbling over one another. Anyone that is close enough will notice that they are actually small blue whelplings -- though the closer they get to them, the more transparent they seem.

Malygos' journal lays open in front of him -- he sounds tired, but its obvious he's gained much of his strength back since vampire week.]

I do believe summer has fallen upon us here, has it not?

[Malygos is out of his cave again, though likely not by his own hand. The mighty blue aspect remains perched in the courtyard, runes pale and scales dark in color. Those who often felt the lively song of magic that danced about his aura would find it barren. Anyone who looked in his eyes would find nothing but sunken yellow.

Still, his expression is proud, despite the obvious fact that he is not well. He lacks the dazed sort of look that his sister had adopted, but its fairly obvious some ailment plagues him.

The dragon is about half of his full height, the tips of his spines appearing almost ethereal, as if he was having trouble staying solid.]

[OOC: No nomming here! Just a very sick godhacker. The most you'll get is a bit of crazed rambling. Unless you make him mad (you probably won't), then I can promise nothing.]

Twilight Sparkle )

[For the first time since Deathwing's arrival, Malygos is out and about in his humanoid form ... particularly inspecting the damage the fight on the grounds had caused.

He had a hand in breaking Deathwing's wards guarding his room, knowing in part that it would have been a poor idea for him to involve himself in any sort of physical altercation.

He could do nothing for the land here -- Alexstrasza would have to tend to it once she was made aware of the damage. Not to mention that he had no interest in staining his hands with that taint.]

What in Norgannon's name was all of that supposed to be, then? Do you think yourself impressive, Paradisa?

Never in all my years of living have I seen such a colossal waste of time, magic, and resources! All for a petty display of extravagance forced upon unsuspecting residents?

Pah! Entirely useless, with such a vast array of power bestowed upon you. It makes me absolutely ill.

I will relish the day judgment finds its way back to you. Perhaps I will have the pleasure of delivering it. Oh how I could only
dream.

[He's already recognized that the April Fool's shenanigans were entirely the castle's doing, and so he won't be CLIMBING ALL OVER IT like he was when Eris preformed her stunt. No, instead he's splayed out in full dragon size along the grounds nearest the castle where he can fit comfortably, head raised high in an almost haughty gesture.]

As for the rest of you...I suppose it's high time I introduced myself.

I have many names, many callings, many titles -- I am most commonly known as Malygos the Spellweaver, Aspect of Magic. I won't bother to explain unfamiliar terms over this artifact. If you are truly interested in myself or your own arcane capabilities, then you will find me outside of the castle.

Consider this an opportunity, mortals. I don't plan to make another anytime soon.

[Malygos learned his lesson in getting too close to the castle during Valentine's Day. So anyone out for a stroll around the courtyard might spot a large blue dragon sitting at the perimeter, staring off into space with way-too-bright yellow eyes. He seems to be focusing on...something you can't see.

But if you didn't see him first, you probably spot a small whelpling hovering somewhere near you looking way too curious. Dare you touch it?]

[ooc: OPEN. No journal, in person...anywhere you want. WHAT WOULD YOU DO FOR A BABY DRAGON? Or you can...spot the big guy himself, if you'd like.]

[And of course, as Eris had attracted one Aspect with its antics, she has ultimately attracted two. And while Alexstrasza was benign in her ways, Malygos certainly was not. The membrane of his wings almost appear to melt with the sky as he soars over the courtyard and gardens to reach Paradisa itself, full size. Nothing would alert any residents to his presence unless they could sense magic...or they saw the giant flying lizard heading their way.

And then without any warning whatsoever, he simply attaches himself to the spires of the castle like some kind of mutant Godzilla, wings outstretched to balance himself. Now if they hadn't seen him yet, or felt the floor shake, they would hear his roar of fury. Miraculously enough, the castle bears his weight without much trouble.

He's after one particular meddler, though -- the one who woke him up from his nap. The surge of magic from both her antics and from Jr.'s little explosion have muddled his thoughts so strongly that he's going for the biggest source he can find at the moment: the castle.]

Where are you, demon? Show yourself!

[OOC: Your bird-watching session was just interrupted by a large blue dragon -- he's not looking to cause trouble (unless you're Eris), so open in person to all (sorry, he can't reach the journal from up here). \o/ He'll talk to you from your window.]
[identity profile] spellweaving.livejournal.com
[Anyone in town might spot an anomaly with no shape fading in and out of existence with a horrible screeching sound. Whenever he does appear, its with a loud 'pop' of displaced air before he's gone again. The displaced air shoots an occasional bolt of electricity in a random direction.

If you have really good eyes, you might see that said anomaly actually does have a shape -- and that's the strange insect/dragon form Malygos seems to favor when he's out and about. He's half flying, half hopping to the west, presumably back to his lair.

That sound? Not a good sound. It sounds scared and angry. WHAT DO?]

[OOC: Open -- hope you brought rubber gloves!]
[identity profile] spellweaving.livejournal.com
[Any resident looking outside the castle might spot a very yellow eye peering in through the nearest window! Or if they miss that, they may find a small 4 foot dragon comprised of liquid magic floating down the halls. He laughs a hyena cackle every now and then as he brushes up against several different doorways, obviously without a care in the world.

And, unsurprisingly, the journal falls open somewhere along the line to catch his maniacal laughter, followed by the next statement.]

Marvelous! Simply extraordinary! No end and no beginning! In, out, in, out~!

[ooc: This is probably the only time Malygos will be anywhere near the castle, take advantage!]
[identity profile] spellweaving.livejournal.com
[Good afternoon, Paradisa! Enjoying the weather? Well that's a shame, because there will be a dragon-shaped shadow blocking the sun momentarily as it heads toward the western mountains surrounding the castle. Chilly!

It won't last long though -- the beast halts at the mountains rather gracefully. The dragon is not the same as the first that flew over paradisa -- this one is a stark blue, with scales that seem to shimmer silver when the light hits them the right way. Glowing blue runes dot his body in several places, though the rest of the detail is lost in the distance.

Those who have spotted him will also notice a bright, electric blue beam firing its way out of said dragon's mouth, straight into the cliff-side. Any debris seems to magically reform its way into the mountainside without tumbling to hit some poor soul below as Malygos carves out his new home -- a dragon's den large enough for him to hide in and move around comfortably. Even at a distance, icicles are visible around the newly formed edges.

Fancy a hello? He's laid himself out on the ledge he's made, legs crossed, yellow eyes cast on the castle]

[ooc: Mod-approved o/ Journal or in person.]
[identity profile] spellweaving.livejournal.com
[Those outside, or perhaps looking out windows of the castle, will notice a blue streak zipping across the sky in a frenzied state. It makes a deep hissing sound, nothing that sounds at all friendly. It leaves a small trail -- those with heightened senses will recognize it as highly concentrated magic -- that leads to the ground where the creature lands.

It is roughly the size of a building, a creature build like an insect with the shimmering blue scales of a dragon -- a skeletal being to say the least. Its wicked claws, built for ice and snow, gouge the ground it walks upon and several crystalline spines pierce its joints. It hisses angrily in an extremely loud echoing tone:]

Tick, tock, tick, tock...Nozdormu playing games again! I have bequeathed no ill, and yet summoned beyond the Nexus. Beyond Azeroth! So good it is to see that your Oath to the fabrics of time has no footnotes on tormenting those nestled in their dens!

You do not impress me, Lord of Time.

[ooc: Have a voice over.]

About the Archive

"Paradisa Lost" is the archive of what the journals contained between December 1st, 2006 and January 10th, 2012. On that final day, Paradisa issued new journals, so that the residents could fill them up again. While there are still residents around who have old journals, we have chosen to preserve the old journals here for muns' reference and history.

"Lost" in the title refers to both the old journals that the residents once kept, and also to our move to Dreamwidth from the original Livejournal community, where Paradisa started. It is a fresh start for muns, as well as for the characters.
