It's clear that this region is split. Those who live in the city are self-sufficient and don't make use of the...'journals'. Whereas the other half of the population rely on the luxuries offered by the castle without question.

Why do you think that is?


[ OOC; TOTALLY open over the journal, although he's not actually addressing to the residents, even if it sounds that way. B) He was talking to Solara and the journal just...fell open. PLEASE specify if responses are dictated or not ]

[ at first there are only sounds recorded in the entry. pounding footsteps, a crash of splitting wood, and then a pause, soon to be followed by what could be construed as a startled grunt.

more sounds follow, though someone listening might have trouble figuring out what they mean. it's just the occasional thump and clatter of things being moved around, the sounds slowly getting louder as he nears the journal, then a long drawn out silence. he's found the journal, but... ]

...A book?

[ the man's gravelly voice says nothing else for awhile, only offering a sigh before there's the creak of a door opening and more footsteps, though now they're fading. he has no reason to bring a random book with him on his search, after all. distantly, his voice can be heard saying one more thing before the sounds of his arrival fade completely ]

Solara.


[ ooc; Since he ditched the journal he won't be responding to any comments made there, but your character is free to run into him while he tries to get the hell out of the castle! Anywhere in the halls or just outside of the castle is game.

He might look a little intimidating though, especially with the machete and bow strapped to his pack...and the handgun he's holding. /cough ]

About the Archive

"Paradisa Lost" is the archive of what the journals contained between December 1st, 2006 and January 10th, 2012. On that final day, Paradisa issued new journals, so that the residents could fill them up again. While there are still residents around who have old journals, we have chosen to preserve the old journals here for muns' reference and history.

"Lost" in the title refers to both the old journals that the residents once kept, and also to our move to Dreamwidth from the original Livejournal community, where Paradisa started. It is a fresh start for muns, as well as for the characters.
