[In your lobby, Paradisa, a little flame is sparking to life in the grate of a fireplace which may or may not have been there last time you checked. And... hey, it's looking pretty weak. Like it hasn't been stoked in a good while.

And moody. Like it will take your fingers off if you come too close.

[Picked up by a carefully placed, not-too-close journal; a loud, almost obnoxious voice can be heard by anyone who happens to be listening. That, along with some crackling.]

Hey. Hey, Howl. Howl.

Did you happen to notice anything? Like, oh, I don’t know. A couple of turrets and a few hundred people?!

Are you crazy? Did you lose your mind? I didn’t sign up for this. The castle, our castle is one thing - I can keep that thing scurrying across the Wastes, flying through the clouds, not a problem. A castle? That wasn’t in the contract. So you can forget about it.

Get rid of the fancy turrets, Howl, I’m serious.



[Pause. For effect.]


…either the turrets go, or I do. Make the right choice.

About the Archive

"Paradisa Lost" is the archive of what the journals contained between December 1st, 2006 and January 10th, 2012. On that final day, Paradisa issued new journals, so that the residents could fill them up again. While there are still residents around who have old journals, we have chosen to preserve the old journals here for muns' reference and history.

"Lost" in the title refers to both the old journals that the residents once kept, and also to our move to Dreamwidth from the original Livejournal community, where Paradisa started. It is a fresh start for muns, as well as for the characters.
