there up in the sky a star to follow
[Private]
Being out here, in the cold and the snow and all ... it's been rather nice. Calm, quiet... and then there was that nice little encounter with the reindeer. It's given me plenty of time to think. I'm still not sure what to make of another of my selves being here ... especially considering which he is, and what I know he's done.
I'm still not entirely sure how to approach him, either.
Or if I should.
Either way, I've been away too long, and ... I should rather like to see my companions again, if nothing else. And it was good to get out and around, instead of being stuck in that dashed castle all day.
I suppose that's the trick, isn't it ... I need to keep myself busy. It was really starting to wear me down. I'll have to think of something new to try, or explore. Maybe that Insolitus again, if I can find a way to avoid the higher-up parts... either way.
It might just be good to be back. I hope it will be.
[/Private]
[tromping his way back toward the castle through the snow, the Doctor stops for a moment at the edge of the forest and just marvels at the lights that have settled there in his absence]
.... how magnificent. You know, I was wondering where that odd luminescence was coming from ... Hello, then, what're you made of? ...
[and he'll be wading his way across the drifts up to the castle walls, pulling one right off the stone and inspecting it thoroughly. angst-induced wandering? what angst-induced wandering?! THERE ARE CURIOUS GLOWY THINGS TO INSPECT]

You could WARN a body before doing that, you know!! ... [pause. brightly] Hello!
sdlfjd. Ten's a wee bit peeved at Five. Sorry. :<
[ He can't help but give Five a slightly annoyed, but mainly chastising look. ] You could have given us at lease a little bit of warning before up and leaving like you did. I know it's our nature to travel and we leave people behind, but some people were hurt.
don't be! :D

Doctor! [have cheerful smile, as she heads up to greet you] The place is really done up.
no subject
It is, isn't it! Quite a lovely sight to come back to, if not just a bit suspect. How've you been keeping?
no subject
[smirks at him, eyebrow lifting curiously] Think it got all fancied up for your return? You'll have to send it a thank you note. [she's teasing, naturally]
I've been good. Bells are the new wreaths, and so there's a bit of snogging going about. [she'd tease him about how last year he'd been victim to the wreaths around her, but she'll leave it be]
The Doctor [10] and I went shopping in the city, and I believe York and him are planning on decorating the TARDIS, have you decorated yours?
no subject
Bells, hmm? ... I do remember that wreath business, you'd warned me of it a while ago. [blushes just a bit]
I haven't tended to the decorations yet, no, but ... if you'd like to help me, I'd be glad of the company.

Mm, yes. Had a good vacation?

What's your take on all these seasonal antics and happenings, mm? ... It's all quite suspicious, if you ask me.
