[the controller is not busted. In a seeming fit of utter devastation, he flicks it off, shoves the game in his pocket, and resorts to sulkily smoking. That constant ringing in his ears is also upsetting!

That's understandable. I've never been one for pets, though a panda would be pretty nice...

...Really now. A tame one? That'd take thousands of years to domesticate a panda!

Maybe something that can fly, though, that'd be a little easier for me to handle and train.
