I do not think I have ever celebrated this holiday before, it seems to be about eating vast amounts of poultry and exclaiming how lucky you are.

I must confess that is a little odd. Particularly in such a place as this.

I suppose it is rather strange to be thankful when we are in a place like this, but for some it truly may be something to be thankful for. Or, it's an opportunity to realize the things we take granted for at home.
