[Lloyd is feeling particularly artsy and lazy today. Which means he'll just draw on the journal, sup.

There are a number of rough sketches showing up on this page. They look like designs for something, but it's hard to say what since he seems to change his mind and start a new one every couple minutes. They start out as fairly intricate geometric patterns before he moves on to different themes -- at least a couple of them involve trees and stars, naturally. They're all very good, if incomplete.

There are other things scribbled in the margins, too, where he got distracted. Smaller designs for jewelry, pictures of Iota and some of his friends' pets, random things from outside his window, you name it.

What would you want to do that for? I thought you said three inches was a lot already.

I dunno, you could just ask the castle for one every time you needed it, and bam! It's right there. That sounds pretty easy to me.

How about I just use you every time I need something tough and dumb?

I can just say no.

So can the castle. It'd be easier if I just eliminated the need for a stool in the first place.

What if your spell messes up and it makes you shorter instead?

... When's the last time one of my spells backfired, huh?

I'm just saying! It could come from a world where magic is really weird or something.

I'm not going to experiment on myself first thing.
