I think I'm going to go crazy looking through all of this. Weddings, fights, deaths... how do we know any of this is real? Even if our names are on it, some of the things here are impossible. There was this one with this girl--

[a pause, and then a sigh] But everyone losing their memories doesn't exactly fall under normal, possible things, does it? Nothing makes sense.

... I'm Claire Bennet. If anyone has anything of mine, I'd appreciate seeing it.

[smiles] Oh, I found something. You have a nice smile.

[a pause, and she sounds relieved... since everyone's been finding pretty bad stuff]

Uhh... thanks. What did you find?

You, sitting at a table wearing glasses. And I guess the man with you must be your dad.

Glasses? I don't think I need glasses. [a pause as she looks at something in the distance--nothing seems very blurry] My vision is fine. Are you sure that's me?

I don't know. It says Claire Bennet on the picture. [looking at the picture thoughtfully] Blonde, pretty, sweet smile. Does that sound like you?

Do you mind bringing it down to the lobby?

Not at all. Tell you the truth, I'm relieved it's something good. I've been finding a lot of frightening ones lately.

[down to the lobby he goes~]

Thanks. And I know what you mean.

[and she'll be there, standing around with her hands in her pockets and waiting for someone to approach her]

[checks the picture to make sure it's her before he approaches]

Claire?

[she nods] You have to be Peter Petrelli, right?

Yeah, but you can just call me Peter. [smiles at her]

Oh, ah... this is yours. [holds out the picture]

Sorry, it's a cool name. Peter.

[takes it, looking at it] ... I look ridiculous. [she laughs, but she's glad it's not full of gore]

Thanks. [grins]

I'm just glad to know not all of these are bad things.

[she carefully puts the picture in her pocket]

Yeah. I think I saw your name on something on that wall over there. [she nods towards it] I was just glancing through earlier, though. So.

It seems invasive, doesn't it? Having yourself on display like this. [looks at the wall thoughtfully]

There's no such thing as privacy. [she looks at him] Are you going to look?

[mutely takes down a newspaper clipping, staring at it for a moment]

This says I tried to kill myself.

What?

[tries to look at it, then just... looks away, since it's not her business]

I jumped off a twenty story building. Why would I do that?

I don't know. [she shakes her head] Someone found video of me jumping off a water tower.

You too?

Yeah. I said it was attempt number six. I don't know why I'd do that.

[now he's starting to wonder if he tried it before D:] I don't know, either.
