I think I'm going to go crazy looking through all of this. Weddings, fights, deaths... how do we know any of this is real? Even if our names are on it, some of the things here are impossible. There was this one with this girl--

[a pause, and then a sigh] But everyone losing their memories doesn't exactly fall under normal, possible things, does it? Nothing makes sense.

... I'm Claire Bennet. If anyone has anything of mine, I'd appreciate seeing it.

[takes a deep breath. Then another. Just because her memories make her look like a crazy person doesn't mean she needs to act like one. Once she calms down, she shakes her head]

[forces up a smile]

How about a walk?

Sure. [offers a hand] Fresh air sounds like a good idea.

[hesitates, then slowly takes it. She's trying to show that she's not a psycho... or at least, that she doesn't want to be :/ ]

Maybe there's less clutter outside.

[pulls her in and picks her up] I don't think it's possible to hang pictures in the sky, anyway. [FLOATS, discovered these powers this morning; starts heading for the entrance]

And a break from all of this might do you some good.

[STIFFENS and nearly tries to push away when she realizes... they're floating]

What--[she stares at him, eyes wide]

How are you--? We're floating!

Yeah, I think I'm a superhero. [looks at her] It was actually easy to take in. [stays still in the air] If you're not comfortable with this, just tell me. I'll let you down.

A superhero? [would laugh if she wasn't seeing this for herself]

No, it's... okay. Just don't drop me something. [puts her arms around his neck]

You're in safe hands. [flies outside, into the sky, GLOWING GREEN AND SHIT]

I think all of this memory loss is temporary. Just hold out until it's over, okay?

[holds on tighter the higher they go--without being certain she's indestructible, she's a bit nervous... and glowing green wtf]

Is that how you're so calm? Thinking about it like that?

That, and ... my memories are not all that bad. I have a cute girlfriend and I'm a superhero.

I feel pretty lucky. [looks at her sympathetically, feels bad that she's a weirdo]

Yeah, you are lucky. I'm glad someone has nice memories. [focuses on the scenery, whoooooa this is trippy]

[holds onto her tightly!] We all have nice memories. And bad ones. You'll find more nice ones soon, I promise.

That's a big thing to promise.

I know. But I'll make it happen. I'll search high... you search low.

[pauses, then laughs a friendly laugh... even if it's not entirely sincere, she's trying]

[lands on the ground, not too far away from the castle] Everyone in that castle probably feels overwhelmed. [puts her down] I meant it when I said I'd help you.

Thanks, Kyle. [takes a moment to stand steadily] I'm sorry for thinking you were a jerk.

[laughs] Well, I'm sorry for being a jerk.

We can go back to the castle any time you'd like. Just take breaks from now on.

Breaks are good. [she looks up] I wish there was more to talk about.

What do you mean?

You know, small talk. Aside from the weather. I can't go "hey, what's your favorite hobby," or ask much of anything, can I? I can't ask if you've ever been to the circus or even where you come from.

That's true, but we can talk about we do know. That, or we can try new things together and create new hobbies.

[shrugs]
