I think I'm going to go crazy looking through all of this. Weddings, fights, deaths... how do we know any of this is real? Even if our names are on it, some of the things here are impossible. There was this one with this girl--

[a pause, and then a sigh] But everyone losing their memories doesn't exactly fall under normal, possible things, does it? Nothing makes sense.

... I'm Claire Bennet. If anyone has anything of mine, I'd appreciate seeing it.

Aren't you worried about your memories?

I figure it's like trying to find anything that you lost. If you try to look for it, you'll never find it. It's more likely that it'll come when you're not expecting it.

I don't know if that's gonna work in this situation.

Well I know I've been looking all day, and I haven't found anything. So why not try the opposite?

I guess. [sighs]

You sound down, what's wrong? Other then the whole not knowing who you are thing.

That's sorta it. It's frustrating. I want to find out, but... I cut my toe off. Maybe I don't want to know.

[hmm, she thinks about this] I'm sure you had a good reason.

[she shakes her head] I wish I knew.

You seem pretty smart, I bet you wouldn't go doing dumb stuff just to do dumb stuff.

You don't know that for sure. I don't even know that for sure.

It's a gut thing. And my gut tells me my gut feeling is right.

[she cracks a smile] Yeah?

Definitely! I bet you have nothing to worry about!

You're awfully optimistic.

I guess so.

At least that's something you can know for sure, if someone else tells you.

Yeah, you're right. And there really isn't any point to getting all depressed, is there?

[she nods] Yeah... you're right.

That's the spirit! Anyway, I'll keep my eye out for more of your stuff. I bet there's happy memories too.
