[crouched low to the ground] Told ya' talkin' to them wasn't gonna do us any good. Aww.... and they got our horses?

[under her breath] Should'a expected them to come after us. Damnit, Whip. We shouldn't have stopped.

[glances to her with a look... yes 'that' look] Well we needed to rest a bit, no harm in gettin' to see my girl once in a while durin' this mess. Sides you weren't too upset with the notion when I suggested it. Ain't my fault they're too nosy.

[she looks back at him, obviously vexed] That was before we were gettin' tailed clear across the county.

[huffs quietly] Well we can wait til they all fall asleep. Mean, it usually works for us in these tight spots.

'Course it does. But these people... lord knows what they can do. Now hush.

[nudges her with his elbow] I am hushin' and I still think we should just wait til their distracted and make a run for it back toward the outskirts, head up to Billings.

Sounds like a plan.

So now we just wait, until we see our opening. [and sees some of them coming toward them] Or.... we shoot our way out of here.

[pulls out her handgun] No trouble, for the finest cowboys Kansas has to offer.

[grabs her and kisses her then pulls back with a smirk] Damn straight. [pulls his gun and inhales] Count of three.... 1.... 2....

[smiles and tips her hat down a bit lower] ... 3!

[Whip makes a break for it, firing off the first shot, aiming high because really he doesn't want them to die or anything... but he does need to make sure he can cover Miss Reno to safety]

I don't know, but I don't want to shoot back. From what I understand, these things aren't good at being non-lethal. [Ironically, it was Five that taught him this.]

[suddenly it's quiet... too quiet and the sound of doors slamming is heard as Miss Reno and Whip have retreated into the mill from a side door. Pushing the round of hay toward the door they hope it's heavy enough to block it, from letting the doors push into the building. Then they head for the loft, knowing they'll have only a slight advantage from this height since the cover area is only a few musty rounds of straw... they'll take cover though and watch the rest funnel in through the front doors of the building.. it's the only way in at this point]
